Chapter 21

Third Person POV

"What kind of presentation is that?"

Kenma demanded as his brows were furrowed, you gulped as you were completely frozen, you felt embarrassment loom over you. You swear you hate your anxiety and hoped that the floor would just eat you.

"Your presentation is a total mess, lots of unnecessary stuff and inaccurate information, the graph lines looks like strings." Kenma said in a strict tone as he stood up, making his way to the door.

"I'll hold another meeting maybe after two days, and Ms. L/n, make sure to revise your presentation and submit me a report, 12 a.m. due. No excuses, I want it submitted at 12 sharp." Kenma sternly announced as he exited the room.

"Yes sir..." You finally moved and went to sit at one of the chairs, while the others have worried looks.

"Secretary L/n..." Yamaguchi and the others went to you and patted your back.

"I'm so sorry, I-I just can't help it, I failed on my first day, I'm so sorry." You apologized to them as your body was shaking.

"No no! It's not your fault Y/n, It's okay." Yachi hugged you while she rubbed your back.

"I need to continue my work now, I have a lot more to do." You stood up and sighed. "I'm going back to the office."

"Thank you all so much." You hugged them as you grabbed your things and went out of the meeting room.

"I feel bad for Y/n, it's her first day as a secretary and she got scolded in front of us, plus Kenma even has a heavy schedule for her." Yachi pouted while the others could only be worried and went back to work as they didn't want to anger Kenma more.

You were typing fast and writing in a paper hurriedly in your office beside Kenma, you couldn't hold back your emotions as you felt really disappointed in yourself.

A notification sound was heard from your phone, you checked and saw a message from Kenma.

Grumpy ass chairman:

Come to my office.

"What does the grumpy ass need?" You laughed but covered your mouth immediately as you didn't want to be heard by Kenma, after all, you just got scolded so you remember to be serious, save the jokes for later.

"Mr. Chairman?" You knocked at his office door, you opened it as he lets you in. You sat at the chair in front of his desk.

"Anything you need, sir?"

He didn't answer for a second.

"Ms. L/n, can you tell me, do you deserve the title Secretary?"

Your breath hitched as you grew confused, you widened your eyes. "Huh?"

"Do you think you did a great job on your first day?" He asked as you only shook your head and kept your head low.

"Exactly, you disappointed me not only once but twice."

"The stunt you did on the meeting was not enough, you even took a minute just for you to find the record, and didn't I told you to take medications?" Kenma said as he sighed.
