In the country
where the grass grows tall
or in the desert
where the dust is cooling
the stars float in the sky
In the city
where the lights won't sleep
or in the suburbs
where the streets are glowing
the stars lay on the ground
If you look out
at your sky in the night
the stars shine for you
like diamonds, as they say
If you look out
at your town in the night
the stars glow for you
like fireflies, as they forget
