I love you because
you told me not to
look at the eclipse
but you didn't know
I only looked at you
I love you because
we sat in those sun
bathed library chairs
and you told me how
much you adored my eyes
I love you because
of how you made
sure you were always
holding my hand so
that I knew you existed
I love you because
you let me take pictures
of you and it made me
happy but I just wanted
you to see what I saw
I love you because
you danced with me
to our favorite songs
and neither of us
knew all the words
