Chapter 18

Troy gave me his car keys and apartment keys and Holden and I went back to his place. “Why are you here?” I asked “not that I’m not happy to see you” I added and we walked into Troy’s place.

“Zack and I planned for me to come this weekend and I knew you were coming to see Troy so I talked to him and thought I’d surprise you” he smiled “surprise.”

I went up and hugged him and he hugged back and we just stood there for a minute before I looked up at him “well you got me” I put my chin on his chest and stared into his eyes.

“Good” he kissed me “I’m glad” he kissed me again. “What do you want to do until 4?”

We sat on the couch “why 4?” I asked.

“That’s when their last class is done and they said we were going and doing something at 7 so I don’t know” he leaned on the right side of the couch.

I turned on the TV and grabbed the Xbox controller and gave him one “I think we could manage” I smiled and we played COD 2. He fell asleep while playing and I laughed and turned on Netflix and but on a random movie and I ended up falling asleep too. I fell asleep with the controller on my stomach while I was laying on Holden’s chest and in-between his legs on the couch. He had the controller in his hands still around my waist.

I was rudely woken up by a bucket of ice cold water, I sat up abruptly and Holden’s chest crashed into my back. “What the hell?” I asked shivering.

“Oh good you guys are up” Zack smiled, and I knew he did it.

“What the fuck Zack?” Holden asked.

“I need you guys to get ready, we’re leaving in an hour. And Tori, Paisley is in Troy’s room waiting for you and Holden come with me” he said and walked away.

I got off the couch and helped Holden off and I went to Troy’s room and say Paisley standing there all excited, oh no. “Ok first I’m gonna do your hair and make-up then you can get dressed.”

“For what?” I asked sitting down and she started on my hair.

“The show tonight, it’s their biggest one yet and I’m really excited” she said and started curling my hair.

“I didn’t know they were playing tonight”

“Troy wanted to surprise you, surprise” she smiled.

“Why does everyone feel the need to surprise me today? First Holden, now this, what’s next?” I asked.

“I don’t know but you two are so cute together, I saw you guys when I came in and I took a picture before Zack gave you a rude awaking, look on my phone” I grabbed her phone and sure enough there was a picture of Holden and I, and I really liked this picture so I added my number in her phone and sent it to myself.

“I love this picture” I said and I realized she was done with my hair and I guess I was staring at the picture for a while. “Woah” I said to my reflection.

“I’m not done yet” she said and attacked me with make-up but not as much as I thought she would “you really don’t need a lot of make-up, you’re already flawless”

“Well thank you, you’re really pretty though, why are you with my brother?” I asked laughing.

“He’s a dork but he makes me happy, I don’t know why” she smiled and I knew I’d see a lot of her and I was ok with that.

“Well if it helps he really likes you” I said and she handed me my dress. It was pure black, I put it on while Paisley did her own hair and make-up. After I put the dress on I looked at what it was like, it was a low rise collarbone neckline and it was one sleeved and went to my mid-thigh. I looked weird but it was nice.
