"This is it little one" my dad hugged me.
"Dad I'll be fine, plus if I need anything I'll just give you guys a call" I said and hugged my mom.
"It's just so weird because you don't start school for another 2 months but you need to get back on the ice" my mom told me.
Troy snorted "she never gets off the ice, she needs a new hobby."
"You're just jealous because I'm good" I stuck my tongue out at him and he grabbed my tongue and I pulled away "that was gross on so many levels" I told him making a disgusted face.
"Stop it you two" my mom said while my dad was laughing.
Aunt Ansley hugged me "I can't believe you're gonna be here for a year" she said looking around my really empty dorm room. "I'm gonna miss you" she said and she started crying.
"I'm gonna miss you too" I told her while hugging her. Patrick joined our hug "I'm gonna miss you too Peaks and the Hawks. I'll be sure to watch all of your guys' games and I'll visit as often as I can, I'll be in Chicago in a month too for hockey"
"Good and I'll be coming to see you, I don't care what you say" my mom said "call me as often as you can please, you're my youngest and most prized child"
"Mom I'm standing right here" Troy said and I laughed at him.
"I know, and I say again my youngest and most prized child, when you're gonna be in the Olympics then we'll talk" she said.
I pointed and laughed at Troy "mom says I'm the better child!" I couldn't stop laughing. "I'm leaving, bye you little shit. Call me if you remember me when you're all famous" Troy said giving me one last hug.
"Yeah we should go so you can get settled in, call us soon please" my dad said and I hugged him "do us proud squirt and I love you."
"I love you too daddy" I said embracing him for the final time for a while. I hugged my crying mother "oh mom I'll be ok"
"I know you will but I won't be" she cried and I laughed "I love you little girl"
"I love you too mama" I hugged her for a final time. I hugged aunt Ansley and Patrick one last time "I love you guys too."
"You'll do good things" aunt Ansley said to me "I love you too Tor"
"Kick ass in my honor" Patrick smiled.
I smiled at him "always will Peaks" and they all left. I sat on my bed and stared at the wall. There was a knock at my door "come in" I said.
I saw Holden standing there smiling at me with a hand full of roses and skittles "hey."
I smiled at him and hugged him "hey yourself" I didn't let go because I didn't want him to leave now.
"Tor you have to let go sometime soon" he laughed.I took a deep breath "I know I do but I really don't want to, because that mean I won't see you for a month"
"Well I know but the month will go by fast, and if you only hug me the whole time I'm here I can't see your beautiful face" I could tell he was smiling.
"But if I look at you you'll only see red, puffy eyes because I'm gonna cry" I said quietly.
He picked me up and sat me on the bed and bent down and looked me in the eyes "Tori, I don't care if you cry or not. I want to see your beautiful face even if it's red and puffy. Because I won't get to see you in person for a month and that's gonna kill me."
I looked right into his blue eyes "well looking like a raggedy doll is not how I want you to remember me" I smiled slightly.
"Well I don't care what you look like because I love you no matter what" he smiled and tackled me and I fell back onto my bed and he was hovering over me and he had my hands pinned above my head and he just smiled at me "I don't see tears yet missy"
