Hockey's Our Game

Chapter 25

"Let's go Max! Tori is beating you!" Coach Jack yelled at us while we were doing full rink sprints on ice. "Stop and circle up!" he yelled and the girls and guys team came in and took a knee and listened to him. "Ok tomorrow the girls have their first game and the guys have their first game on Saturday, we've been together 3 months now you all have made progress and I'm damn proud of you. Hit the showers no off-ice tonight I want to go easy" he dismissed us and we all took off and hit the showers. I went to my locker after I showered and threw on sweatpants and I was in my black sports bra and I put everything back away and I grabbed my backpack and grabbed my phone.

"Later ladies!" I yelled and left the locker room and I got some byes and I left the locker room happy. I walked to the doors and I looked down to check the time on my phone and I ran into someone. "Oh shit sorry" I looked up and it was Max, captain of the guys' team here.

"It's ok" he laughed he walked away and I heard my name and I turned around and he was smirking at me "I personally like you in no shirt too"

I rolled my eyes and flipped him off "still have a boyfriend Max."

"He doesn't have to know" he winked.

I flipped him off again "I'm not that kind of person" and I walked out to my car and drove back to my room. Before I went to my room I knocked on Piper's door and walked in "hey guess who's coming in tonight?"

"Your boyfriend?" she asked.

"Nope, yours" I smirked and she blushed.

"We're not dating, he's just really funny and I've never met him so I'll be really awkward" she smacked her forehead "why isn't Holden coming? It's your first game of the season, you went to his."

"You'll be fine and he is a professional hockey player and he's in Detroit right now, the game is on in 20 minutes, wanna come and watch?"

"Who's all gonna be there?" she asked.

"Um, Ty, Mia, Chrissy, Max, Logan and when Troy and Zack get here" I told her "I gotta go so if ya want come on over, my doors always open" I smiled and went to leave.

"Except when Holden's here" she smirked and I flipped her off and left and she was laughing the whole time.I went to my room and left the door open and turned on pre-game and I turned it on loudly too, everyone on my floor loves hockey and they all come over and watch the game sometimes when they pass, I don't mind. I got out my water bottles I had and all the food. I made a sandwich for myself and texted Troy.

<Where are you guys?

>About 40 minutes away, we'll be there soon

<Cool, games gonna start soon so there's gonna be a lot of people here

Mia came in wearing her Kane jersey and I slipped my Collins jersey on and threw my hair up in messy ponytail and Chrissy came in her Kane jersey too. "Chrissy can you take our picture please?" I asked her handing her my phone. I held one of my hockey sticks and threw up a peace and Mia grabbed another stick and leaned on me and we had duck faces as well, classic us picture.

"Thanks" Mia said and I said thanks as well and Ty and Max came in. Max had on a Hossa jersey and Ty had on a Seabrook jersey.

"I think this will be a good game" I smiled and sat on my futon and Chrissy sat on Ty, yes they're dating. Chrissy is on my team, she is tall and has black hair and her and Ty are cute as hell together.

"Oh there's gonna be a fight or two I just know it" Logan said entering the room with a Toews jersey on.

"I still hate you that you know these guys Tor" he said and looked at the picture of Toews and I dropping our gloves and 'fighting' it was a good picture.
