Shannon's POV:

"Thanks again Talia. I'll keep in touch and let you know how things are going with the business," I said leaning down to kiss her on the cheek. I shrugged on my jacket and began to make my way toward the door. It was only midnight, but I guess I over stayed my welcome.

Jax had shown up at our table and was furious that I was talking to Talia and strongly suggested he wanted me to leave, so instead of going back to my hotel, I decided to check out the other clubs in the area.

I came to one called the Cliff Hanger and it seemed promising. As I approached I could hear the beat of if the music thrumming through the air. I walked up to the door before the bouncer could even ask I showed him my ID.

He let me pass and the heat radiating from so many bodies made it feel like a sauna. I made my way through the dancing crowd to the bar, picked up a drink menu from a basket, and began thumbing through the options.

"Hey what can I get you?" The bartender asked polishing a glass cup.

"I'll have a Black Russian." I placed the menu back in the basket and checked my phone. I had text from Jared that said: We haven't started filming yet, but I have met the cast, and they're amazing! I wish you could be here and I hope you're doing well. Best of luck with Black Fuel! XOXO

I sighed knowing that it was going to take longer than expected. The bartender placed the drink in front of me and made light conversation.

"I've never seen you here before. Where are you from?"

"I live in LA, but I'm here on business."

"What kind of business?"

"I'm trying to start a coffee and living essentials shop." I took a sip of the drink and it was stronger than I expected, but I enjoyed the burning sensation.

"Hey! I was wondering when you would come around again!" The bartender said addressing someone behind me.

"Hey, Cayson. I need a scotch pronto," said a familiar female voice.

I turned slightly in my chair enough to see long jet black hair and a slim curvy figure sit next to me.

"You got it, Rave."

"So you're stalking me now?" The bartender had confirmed my suspicions that it was indeed Raven.

She turned and looked at me in shock. "I think it's the other way around," she said grabbing her drink from Cayson and drinking the whole thing.

"Just an fyi I've been here for 15 minutes now."

"Really? Good for you. You can keep time."

I smiled at her harsh sarcasm. Took her hand in mine. "Let's dance."

"No thanks. I prefer to sit and drink." She pulled her hand from mine and placed it in her lap.

"Oh come on! I know you love to dance. How you danced on that stage says as much, so come on."

She insisted on ignoring me so I did something she couldn't brush off. Stood behind her and pressed my body into hers. Her breath hitched as I placed my hands at her hips.

"Please," I whispered in her ear.
