As I stood backstage waiting patiently for my cue, one of the bouncers appeared.

"Mason said he's having some technical difficulties and to give him 30 minutes. his adaptor is shorting out."

I nodded and felt a flood of relief run through me. I sat down on a near by stool and breathed deeply.

"You're not going to dance in it are you?" Venus said surprising me.

"No. I'm not dancing. I'm going to sing."

Venus looked shocked. "I didn't know you could sing."

"Very few people do. Talia knows and Mason. It's not a talent I openly showcase."

"Why not?"

"My mother was a singer, and it destroyed her life." I laughed. "I guess dancing can be just as destructive."

Venus was silent for a moment then there was a sudden spark in her eyes. "I'll sing with you! What are singing?" She asked excitedly.

"Venus you really don't-"

"Look, we need to something more than just dance. Sure it's entertaining to those meatheads out there, but it's exhausting for us. We need a change."

"Count me in!" Pixie shouted as she joined Venus and me. She was a very small woman with black pixie cut hair and large green eyes she almost looked like child but surprisingly she was four years older than I was. "I love to sing!" Out of us all she was always enthusiastic. With her happy demeanor and small frame we thought the nickname Pixie fit her perfectly.

I smiled grateful for the both of them and filled them in.

Talia's POV

Haiden and I drove to Jax's. I didn't want to be there but I finally convinced myself that I need to go and try to bring Raven back.

When we walked in a familiar Christina Aguilera song was playing, but it wasn't her voice singing the words. As the stage came in view I saw Raven, Venus, and Pixie singing. Raven had everyone on awe.

There were men lined along the stage staring up at her dreamily as she sang.

My heart was broken for her as the words set in. He needed to know. Shannon needed to know somehow by someway that he was the only one that Raven could ever love.
