Why am I alive?

TANA'S POV

I struggled to fight the pain i was feeling all over my body. I couldn't open my eyes.

"Come on guys let's stop the bleeding before anything else"I heard a man say.

But wait why can I hear someone? Does this mean I'm still alive?

   My body was too weak to talk or move, after a minute i blanked out again.

             THE PALACE

ANTONIO'S POV

"Why is she not picking up my calls" he said trying to figure out why tana switched of her phone for the past 2 hrs when she knows he would be calling.

"Why aren't  you asleep yet?"  Antonio brother came in to ask him.

"She isn't answering my calls" he replied to his brother.

"Tana right?" He confirmed.

"Yes"

"Well maybe she is sleeping already"

His brother tried to make him feel better.

"But we decided that we will call and chat with each other this  night🌃🌃🌃, and when I first called it rang but got disconnected and now its saying switched off"

"Well my maybe her phone📱 is low"

"I feel like something is wrong"

"Nothing is wrong just sleep, Tomorrow you will call her and she will answer" Tony assured

"What of it says the same thing" Antonio asked.

"You are going to meet her in school 🏫🏫 tomorrow so don't worry"

"Good night" He sighed.

"Good night" his brother said while going out of the room.

That night he could not sleep he kept on having a bad feeling that something was wrong but he tried to replace those thoughts with the thoughts his brother gave him and that was: tana was sleeping and that her phone was low.

   IN THE MORNING
                  AT THE HOSPITAL

I open my eyes and found out the surrounding resembled a hospital.

"What am I doing here" i asked the woman dressed in a nurse dress sitting on a chair besides me.

"Thank God you are awake, i will go call the doctor stay here" she said as she stood up and went out.

After a minute the nurse came back with a doctor and a woman.

"Good morning ma" the doctor greeted"

"Good morning Sir"  i greeted back to him.

"I am Doctor Lima and this is Mrs Smith" he said pointing to the woman next to him. " You were hit by her car and had a very serious bleeding so she rushed you here"

"Hi, my name is Mrs Smith" she said stretching her hand for a handshake, but she didn't get one because my right hand was bandaged and it will be wrong to shake her with my left hand. So I just said "hi" to her.

"I am sorry dear i didn't  know you were on the road and beside i was in a rush so i sped"  She said while i felt sorry and guilty for allowing this woman to pay hospital bills on me when I caused this upon my self.

"Why did you safe me?  why did you safe me?" i shouted, she ruined my plans.

"I wanted to die, is not your fault I wanted to kill myself but you spoilt that chance for me"
I shouted and cried.

"What are you saying dear.............." Mrs Smith asked.

"Please stop calling me dear" i interrupted her, as I tried to get out of the bed.

"Ma please you need to calm down, you are in a very critical state now, your body is not functioning properly" The doctor said.

 Mrs. Smith" he said turning her. "Please i want to talk to you"

"Cassandra" the doctor said.

"Give her the annestania so she calms down, please stay with the lady when she wakes up please get her something to eat" the doctor said as he went outside with Mrs. Smith and the nurse injected me with something making me dizzy and weak as I drifted to sleep.

             IN THE PALACE

"Her phone is still switched off" Antonio said to himself as he walked up and down trying to figure out why Tana phone was still switched off.

"Are you still worried about her" his brother came in and sat down with him on the bed.

"You said she will answer today but she isn't"

"Maybe she is in school🏫 already, stop being too worried am sure your girl is fine, get ready so that i will drop you and Jennie at school" Jennie is their younger sister she's nine years

"I just feel like something is wrong somewhere" Antonio said with a heartache.

"Antonio stop thinking negativity, just think positive" Tony said while putting his right hand on his brother shoulder.

"Ok"

"I'm waiting for you downstairs so be fast" Tony said standing up from the bed and going downstairs.

"Yh"

Tony is Antonio older brother he just came back for a break after his third year in university and since he came he and his younger brother have been hanging around and chatting, that's how he came to know about his brother lover(Tana). Tony is studying law in the university and he also has a girlfriend.

     AT THE HOSPITAL

"I don't feel like eating"

"Please ma you have to eat" the nurse pressured me.

"Can you please stop calling me ma am a 15 year old girl" I spoke in annoyance.
