Where Is She?

Randy POV

Rushing out of Amber's room I start making my way to the lift in search of the only other person that could know where she has gone and why she has left.

As I reach the lift the doors open and Jeff steps out.

"Where is she?" I say grabbing her shoulders

"Where's who?" He asks looking confused

"Amber, where is she?" I ask again

"Ok first calm down" he says "and second I thought she was with you"

"I went to tell Steph she was alright and when I came back she was gone, her stuffs gone, her cars gone everything's gone" I sigh

"I don't understand why has she gone?" He asks

"I was hoping you knew" I say all she left was this" I say handing him the short note.

"Ok if she's left, then she's quit so Steph should know whats going on" he suggests "let's go see her"

Amber POV

I had been driving around aimlessly for over an hour, I hadn't even made it out of Florida. I had absolutely nowhere to go and no ideas.

As I pull up in a layby the phone I bought rings.

"Hello?" I answer

"Amber it's Stephanie, I got your note"

"Oh thank god" I gasp

"Listen where are you?"

"Still in Florida I have nowhere to go, and I can't go home" I sigh

"Ok I want you to go to the airport, I'll have a ticket waiting for you and some one to pick you up at the other end you can stay with them until I tell you to come back "

"Who is it?" I ask

"Some one both Paul and I trust, and don't worry about Jess by the time I'm through she'll wish she never messed with any of us"

"Thanks Stephanie, and please keep Randy safe"

"You have my word, nothing will happen to him, just sit tight and I will be in touch"

Ending the call I do as Steph says and head for the airport, when I arrive I find she has booked me a ticket to Texas, a couple of people come to mind that live around that area but I ahev no idea if its either of them.

Randy POV

"Steph I need to talk to you" I say bursting into her office

"Randy what can I do for you?" She asks sitting back in her chair

"Have you heard from Amber? Do you know where she is?" I ask

"First of all take a seat and lower your voice" she says "secondly yeah I've heard from her, she quit about an hour ago"

"Do you know why?" I ask

"I'm not at liberty to discuss that with you" she says

"Steph please that girl is the love of my life" I plead "you have to tell me something"

"I wish I could" she sighs "all I can tell you is she's alright"

"Well if you hear from her please tell her that I love her" I sigh

"Absolutley if I hear from her I will tell her" she smiles "now please try not to worry, I need you focused"

I nod and stand from my seat heading out of the office.

"Oh and Randy, you have my word, she will be back" she smiles

Leaving the office I slump down on to one of the crates, putting g my head in my hands, I'm still none the wiser as to why she has left. Its clear that Steph knows something but she won't or can't say.

What happened while I was gone that made Amber leave? Whatever is was and whereever she is I just hope she knows how much I love her.

Two hours later
Amber POV

Walking through arrivals I scan the area looking for whoever it is that's picking me up. As I look around I spot a sign with my name on and it's been held up by one of the two people I had thought of.

"Hi I'm Amber" I say approaching "It's an honour to meet you Mr Micheals"

"Pleasures all mine and please call me Shawn" he smiles taking my bags

"Thank you for doing this" I say

"No trouble at all, you'll be safe here" he says leading me out of the airport

"Wait you know?" I ask shocked

"Yeah Steph filled me in" he nods

"Well then you'll know I'm not the one in danger" I sigh "I don't need to be kept safe"

"I know but Steph is worried about your safety as well as his" he says placing my bags in his truck. "You need a hand getting in? I know your back took a beating" he asks and I nod

"Why does no one listen to me when I say that I don't care what happens to me?" I ask  "all that matters to me is that he is safe"

"Becuase while it's admirable that you love him enough to risk your life for him, it's also reckless" he says "think of how you'd feel if anything happened to him, if you lost him, now if he loves you the way you love him he would feel the exact same way if something happened to you or he lost you"

"I know he would he's said as much" I say smiling at the words Randy had said to me at the hospital

What good is me being safe if I don't have you

"Well then you need stay safe for him, for his sake" he says "now here are the rules as set out by she who must be obeyed, only use your disposable phone, do not contact Randy or Jeff in any way and your to stay with me until she says otherwise.......oh and don't contact her she'll contact you"
