Finally Made It

Six months later
Amber POV

With Shawn's help I had gotten back in the ring within a week, I had decided to keep my adjusted move set so that I was covered if I ever hurt my back again.
With Randy's neverending love, support and belief in me I had worked my way back into the title picture and I was finally getting my shot.

I had come to the PC with Randy for one last training session ahead of tonight's big match, I wanted to make sure I was completely ready to take on Becky and it gave me something to focus on other than my nerves.

"Ok so I want you to think of me as Becky, just do what you are going to do tonight, don't go easy on me and don't worry about hurting me" Randy says as we get in the ring

"Slight problem with your plan" I say "I can't lift you"

"Ok minus the lifting" he smiles

As we run through my match together I get Randy down on the mat and go for a pin, however at some point in the process I make the mistake of looking in his eyes and I forget what I'm supposed to be doing.
Within seconds he has flipped me over and has my hands pinned over my head.

"You got distracted" he says looking down at me "you can't afford distractions, not tonight"

"Well tonight I'm not going to be looking at you" I say

"So your saying you were distracted by my dazzling good looks" he smirks

"Yeah something like that" I laugh as he leans down and kisses me

"Dude could you maybe not hump our little sister in public"

Breaking apart we find Jeff and Matt standing beside the ring smirking at us.

"I was teaching her not to get distracted" Randy laughs as he gets up and helps me to stand

"Oh she didn't seem distracted at all" Matt laughs "anyways we wanted to drop by and wish you look, and we thought we could film your training for you to watch back" he says giving me a subtle wink

Nodding I get myself into position while they keep Randy talking, I give Jeff a nod and they stop talking, as Randy turns back to me I hit him with an RKO, to a round of cheers and laughter from the guys.

"You got distracted" I laugh as I help him up

"I can believe I've let that happen twice" he says pulling me into his arms

"Oh believe it and this is going straight on youtube" Matt laughs, Jeff meanwhile has had to take a seat on the floor he's laughing that much.

Sliding out of the ring I give both Matt and Jeff a hug and thank them for coming.

"We'll see you tonight" Matt smiles "make us proud"

"I will" I smile

"Hey guys, mind if I speak to both in private" Randy asks catching up with them.

I watch as they all leave wondering what on earth they are talking about.

Later that night
After the match

"Your winner and new Raw Women's Campion Amber"

Standing in the middle of the ring holding up the belt I could hardly believe this was happening, I had finally made it to this point despite everything that had happened the last two and a half years.

As the show closes I stay out in the ring grabbing a mic.

"You know I'm not one for big speeches so I'll keep this brief" I say "I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and belief in me I wouldn't be here with out all of you, I also want to thank my adopted brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy, especially Jeff, he believed in me when I lost faith in myself and if it wasn't for him I would never have come back, thank you both for your love and support it means the world to me and I hope I made you proud. And last but by no means least, I want to thank Randy, the love of my life, thank you for loving me the way that you do, I love you and I did it baby!" I say holding the belt up to a round of cheers.

As the cheers start to die down I get out of the ring and make my way over to the fans signing autographs and taking photos, I have no intention of leaving just yet.
Hearing a rumble I notice the cheers start to pick up again and when I look towards the ramp I see Randy heading to the ring, he's dressed in a smart shirt and jeans and he has a mic in his hand, I watch as he gets int he ring and then starts to speak.

"I know you were expecting me to come back out but I have somethings I'd like to say" he says smiling at me "most importantly  congratulations baby, gold looks real good on you, would you mind coming in the ring for a moment" he says opening the ropes for me, as I step in the ring the crowd goes quiet

"Amber I am beyond proud of you, you've been through a hell of alot in the short time you've been here yet here you are standing tall. You never cease to amaze me whether it's saving my life twice, giving me a second chance when I know I didn't deserve it or just being the strongest bravest person I know. I love you and I love you more everyday, my world has been a much better place with you in it and I want it to stay that way for the rest of my life"

Randy gives me a quick kiss before slowly dropping to one knee, I gasp and put my hand over my mouth and the crowd starts to cheer as Randy opens and holds out a ring box

"Amber baby will you marry me?" He asks his own eyes glistening with tears

"Yes.....yes i will" I say as he slides the ring on my finger before standing and taking me in his arms.

As we head backstage Matt and Jeff are waiting for me with big smiles on their faces, they both greet me with big hugs and a kiss on the cheek.

"Congratulations little sis, you made us very proud" Jeff says

"You sure did" Matt says "and you just remember what we said" he says pointing at Randy

"What did I miss?" I ask

"When he talked to us earlier, he asked our permission to marry you" Jeff says "we said yes and politely told him that he better look after you"

"Politely" Randy laughs "I believe Matt said something about living in a forest and owning a shovel"

"Yes well I'm just protecting her" he laughs "it's what brothers do"
