Ink Stained Heart [poetry]

Time To Conquer

Amidst the rain
When I'm deep in pain
The flashbacks won't leave
The nightmares never cease;

Yet in the agony
I can find me
Discover the warrior within
I've been through thick and thin;

All I wanted to do is run
But I knew that there's the sun
That is shining over my heart
Even when everything seems dark
There is light and hope within me;

I might feel on a tightrope
But there's strength only I possess
And I will defeat the sadness and distress
For I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Nothing will ever make me stop I will reach the mountain top!
