Bobbys pov

my mind goes blank as I stand by the side of the fire truck with the whole 118 surrounding me

"okay guys we have to be on high alert as you know some of the other fire stations have been being targeted and there have been some shootings" I see the team nod a few share glances to each other across the station the bell blurs making us all run from where we was standing to the trucks

"stay safe everyone" I announce before jumping into the truck

"we have a overturned car when we get there I want buck and Eddie on recovery and chim and hen on medical" I abruptly say

"got it cap" chim announces through the radio. I watch buck in the mirror move nervously in his seat

"hey don't panic nothing bad can happen" Eddie says resting a hand on his knee. Buck instantly calms down

"yeah" he nods with a gentle smile. I know these two both have girlfriends but the love between them is so strong they can't hide it from anyone I think to myself as we pull up at the scene. As soon as we pull up Eddie and Buck jump out and get straight to work as hen and chim patiently wait.  The streets where quite the only noise was coming from the jaws that Eddie was now using to open the door. A scream filled the streets causing the whole team to stop what they was doing and look over to a young girl standing in the doorway of her home

"you guys carry on" I announce racing over to the woman. I run inside the apartment following her and is met with a empty room with a large red couch

"mam what is wrong" I say calmly watching her close the door and lock it she smiled towards me and I knew we was all in danger.

chims pov

"where did cap go" I shout across to hen and buck who are helping the man onto the gurney 

"ill go check" Eddie says as we load the patients into the ambulance 

"cap" Eddie shouts by the door 

"he's not there" Eddie says tasing his hands in the air walking back towards the truck the he stops dead 

"Eddie" buck says in a questionable tone Eddie trys to talk then falls forward to the floor 

"Eddie" buck says walking towards him  

"get down he's been shot" the probe shouts jumping out the truck knocking buck to the floor 

"Eddie Eddie" buck shouts trying to gather eddies attention who now pulling himself towards the truck. 

"ive been shot" his voice says now panicked but low 

"Eddie look at me" buck says looking under the fire truck Eddie turns his head looking at buck from the other side of the truck

"I'm coming to you" buck shouts climbing slowly onto his feet 

"no no buck stay where you are" hen shouts from next to me my mind now fully catching up to the situation 

"no body move" I shout my eyes locking with buck 

"dispatch this is 118 we're taking fire and we have one firefighter down" I say through my radio 

"hen you need to get to the ambulance and take these people to the hospital" I say pointing to the victims of the crash she nods making a run for the ambulance jumping in and making a swift exit and my attention turns back to Eddie. Buck now stretching his hand as far as it will go but not close enough to reach Eddie
