"Never ever flinch at the questions. No matter what you feel inside, however terrible, horrible you may find it, there is always a way out of it" Siddharth had told her this. He had given her enough training. In her initial days after biggboss she used to get scared of all the media attention. And she was someone who always said she loved attention! She had called siddharth once telling him it's all too much. She was afraid she would say something wrong and mess up. He had told her this then.
"There is always a way out of every problem. Never show you're vulnerable side to those cameras. Collect yourself. Take a deep breathe,be as honest as you can, Make it short and simple, or slowly change the topic , but if you're really uncomfortable ask them to move on to the next question"
She tried making it short and simple, but this is shefali, she won't stop until she gets an answer. She could say she is uncomfortable but that will create suspicion. Be honest. She told herself.
"Well, yes. msk happened just after biggboss. I missed him very much. And it was the same house. So everywhere I went, whatever I did,I had a memory that I shared with him.Our fights, our jokes, memory is a boon-" No its a curse she told herself.
"But it didn't help me then. And his name was always mentioned in the show some way or the other. It was either by me or by someone else. That wasn't helping me either. Then they started to question my relationship with him. So I straight up said I loved him. But you see love has so many meanings to it,and I myself didn't know what meaning i was giving to it. You have to understand that I am a person who has always spoken her my mind. If I feel like someone is important to me,if I feel connected to them I tell them I love them. At least I used to. Now Ive learned that saying that is not considered very appropriate, so I adjust with I like you", She giggled to lighten up the mood, said,
"I like you shefali"and gave her a flying kiss.
Shefali laughed.
"Haha. Thank you. I like you too shehnaz"
Well done shehnaz. She told herself.
"So you don't love him? You guys are just friends?"
Oh no. I've ruined it. Syappa. Now what!
" I like him" . Shehnaz chuckled.
Shefali laughed. But she was persistent. She wanted a clear answer. I won't let her run away,Shefali said to herself.
"Tell us shehnaz"
The audience grew quite.
Shehnaz rolled her eyes.
"Ugh, does it really matter? What we are? Friendship, love, whatever it is, Shefali I can tell you this much.
IT IS REAL " She made sure she said that loud and clearly.
"It is genuine, and as much as I say I love change, that its inevitable,
SIDNAAZ is TRUE,and truth CANNOT be changed, which is why I said sidnaaz wouldn't change"
She paused to take a breathe. Everyone was silently listening to her. Her words seemed so pure, and from the heart. The innocence in her answer made everyone feel a little guilty for questioning her emotions.
"I deeply care for him and he does too. Isn't that all we want, as humans? For someone to care for us, to think about us? To remember our birthdays, to wish us at exact 12:00 in the morning? To celebrate another year with both you're families ?Well he does all of that, and more.
So you can give us all you're tags, friendship, love, family, I see it all the same, because he really is all of that for me. "
"I see", said Shefali nodding her head up and down with a pen supporting her chin. She didn't seem too pleased with the answer because she still didn't get a proper answer. But if she push sana more, the public would hate it , and clearly her answer made them all emotional. They've all been clapping for about a minute now. And deep inside, she knew shehnaz was right.
It really didn't matter what kind of love it is as long as it is love.◦•●◉✿pls dont forget to vote✿◉●•◦
