Chapter 9 : Just text her you fool!

Siddharth had been watching the whole show. It was aired live. He didnt always watch her interviews, he knew she will do fine, but this one is a little different, this interview scared him a little, he was worried for sana. Why? Shefali bagga is the one interviewing her ofcourse. He always had a suspicion towards her. And he was right. Some questions were too personal and just plain rude.
But he was proud of the way shehnaz responded to everything. She seemed calm and composed. Never showed a sign of vulnerability although he knew she was going through a lot answering them. His fingers kept moving the whole time.

Now they've announced a break. The last question she answered was about Punjab. It was his idea, he remembered that day, the day he told her to leave. He hated thinking about it. He took his phone and read the last message he had sent her.

'Shehnaz, I hope you can make it to the success party!'

Huh! Only he knew the pain and struggle he took to just type that one line and send it. Only he knew the tension he had to go through when she didn't reply back. When the party was announced , and his assistants asked the name of the people to be invited, the first name that came into his mind was 'Shehnaz', why ? he didn't know. She wasn't part of the show, she had nothing to do with it, infact she wasn't even around him, during the shoot or the release. Then why did he need her? He didn't know. But she has to be there. He kept arguing with himself, his logics and reasons said leave her alone! but his heart said just text her you fool!

Logics : But wasn't it your idea for her to take a break? Weren't you relieved she was away? So what is this that is going on with you now? When to come back should be upto her.

Heart : text her .

Logics: Will you please leave her alone? You've already told ken to inform her, and he said she didnt give any reply, if she wouldn't even reply to ken, her best friend, why would she reply to you ? And what does the lack of response mean?

Heart :  text her .

Logics : it means , she is not interested. Don't be dumb. She is hurt, you've hurt her too much. You asked her to leave and now asking her to come back is cruel. Its like you're using and throwing her as you please. For once let her decide something for herself.

Heart : ahem ahem. TEXT HER!!!

Logics : she must be really happy in punjab, she has been there for about 3 months and not even called you once. Are you really that stupid to not understand her feelings?

Heart : JUST TEXT HER YOU FOOL!

Aaghhhh.

And then he gave in to his heart. Fine.fine. ill text her.

He remembered, he literally heard the sound of his heart sinking when he saw she didn't reply.

Logics : huh! What did i tell you.  You never listen to me when its about shehnaz.

Its true. And he always have to go through this torment of logics and feelings whenever it was about her. Why is this girl so important to you? He didnt know.
He was always clear about everything in his life,but not about shehnaz. What she means to him and why she means so much to him is an answer he himself didn't know. He just wants the best for her. Everything. Even the man she loves must be just perfect.

Logics : She needs someone like her, young and energetic. Your time is up siddharth. Forget it.

Heart : oh shut up will you,with your age? If she doesnt have an issue with it, why are you having it?

Logics : why because im logics! And if he really wants her to have everything best, he should let her have it. Is he the best option for her?

Heart : yup!

Logics : well he doesn't think so.

He shook his head, and closed his eyes to calm himself down. Everything she said, about him, in the interview,that it really didn't matter what kind of love it was, that she didn't care what tags the public gave them. His eyes watered. This girl! What shall i do with her. She has so much love in her heart. He covered his face with both his hands.
He remembered at the party , he was checking his watch,again and again.
Will she come? Why am i getting so anxious. He was nervous that whole evening. Everyone he invited was there at the party now, except ofcourse shehnaz.

Logics : uffo. Quit whining over it! She ain't coming. Just enjoy your success party will you?

But what if she does? He did hear the news that she was back . The joy he felt when he opened the twitter! The news gave him all the energy he needed that day. But there's no sign of shehnaz. He kept looking at the entrance and then he saw her !

Heart :Buahauahauahauhaha

Logics : well well

Heart :BUHAHAHAHAHAHA

There she was. Amongst the crowd, he saw her. The face he missed so much.
