CRIMSON: The Crimsonite
Days have passed after that day. The mansion still looks the same, as from the day we leave except to those white blankets that are covering every little thing in every corner of the mansion.
I remember those days where everyone one has no space for a sadness in our eyes and lips. A genuine happiness only lives.
The old coffee table outside the veranda. The empty swimming pool, and especially the kitchen where I most of the time spend my weekends with Mama. Every side have a special place in my memory.
Everything seems like before, but it will never be the same again as before.
I placed my bag at the entrance of the mansion and the first thing I brought out of the bag, is the last family picture that I have. I placed it in the place where it really belong since then.
"Kuya! It's nice to be back!" Deva shouted from the entrance.
I smiled at her as she looks at the every details of the house. She seems like she's trying to recall everything, but I guess the only thing she recall is the rocking horse that she used to play before.
In a moment, Odette approached.
"This mansion is nice ah. I didn't know we had this." she said while looking at the details just like what Deva did.
I ignored her opinion and walked at the veranda where Mama and I spend most of our time. The veranda is actually next to the pool.
As I get close to the veranda, the first thing I saw is the rocking chair where Mama used to read me some stories. I stepped in the veranda and walked to the rocking chair. I tried to sit on it after years.
I didn't know but I felt a cold wind filled me and drop of a tear came down to my hands.
I heard a sound of step from behind.
"Ozi, let's go na." she said while she walk to face me.
When she's in front of me, her mood suddenly change from annoyed to worried. I looked at her with a dripping sadness in my eyes.
"Hey, it's okay." she patted my head while she bend over me. My eyes crouch from sadness like a child looking for a pillow to calm.
I stand from being sitted in the rocking chair and absentmindedly hug her. I poured my sadness on her shoulders.
"I wish I could turn back time." as I cried.
She didn't flinch from what I did, instead she carressed my back as if it'll do something to ease the sadness I feel. She hugged me until my emotions calmed. We sitted on the coffee table near us.
"I'm sorry." I spoke habang ang ulo ko'y nakatungo.
"It's okay. Dapat pala hindi ko na lang 'to binigay." tumawa na lang ako sa iniasta niya. "We supposed to train for today, but I guess... ipagpapaliban na muna natin."
"Sorry." she hissed after I said it.
She leave after that incidence.
I stepped in of her office. Not the office she have on their penthouse, but her office in the lower floor of the building.
"Oh Ozi! Come here!" she approached. Pagkasabi niya noon ay kumuha siya ng papel mula sa drawer niya at inilihad iyon sa akin sakto sa pagupo ko sa harap niya.
