I need you.

When confronted with a challenge, the committed heart will search for a solution, and the undecided heart searches for an escape. The wrong person demands attention, love, and commitment. Mrs. Right gives you these things because they love you. Apologizing doesn't always mean you're right and the other is wrong, but that you value your relationship more than your ego. Almost every successful relationship begins with two beliefs:

Our future can be better than our present, and we have the power to make it so.

I should have known I made the wrong choice without a second thought to backpedal the decision, now, dead and gone.

Life is truly chaotic right now in this very moment. Anything and I mean anything to take me out of this year and back at least eight years ago if not ten where more things seemed to be just a tad bit more peaches and cream.

Just a tad. When the same woman driving me insanely insane now was not nearly as adamant way back when. When she was that modest sheep, and too, the co-captain of this ship here. Now, it went without saying she was the boss. I, of course, would always be headmaster of the house but she was something, I tell you, and she was at that high leveled class where you can believe she would tell you too.

I love my wife down to the last fiber living in me and if I had learned nothing but one thing over the nine, going on ten years we've been together and married, it was that she was not to be given an ultimatum to choose between two expedients. Never.

I don't know why I did it, but as I said, I was not thinking and it was too late to backpedal. I regretted asking the woman the second I opened my mouth, "What do you want for dinner? Spaghetti or lasagna?"

She was about to start; I felt it in that quick second her eyes lowered on me who was already repenting the question.

"Is that not the same thing?"
