* Warning: Mentioning and signs of a panic attack.

"We should go," Gale's voice broke my thoughts of being flustered. "The Peacekeepers will be here any second."

I didn't want to run into any Peacekeepers, because that means Roland. I didn't want to have to kill him if it came down to it. The pain is still there from when he got me shot, not physically - but mentally. It hurts that I put so much trust into one person, for it to just snap in half like it was never even there.

"How do you know?" Cato asked.

"The surveillance camera's down there definitely caught us." I chewed on my lip nervously. I fidgeted with my fingers as I looked outside at the black oil that was slowly going down.

"This is a bad spot," Gale said again. "We need to move now."

"Peacekeeper's?" It's like my words finally caught up to my thoughts. I felt my anxiety start as I looked at the nearest person, who happened to be Katniss.

"He won't be there," She promised me.

"How do you know?" I asked, concern taking control of my voice.

"What she means is that he better not be there," Finnick said with a scowl. I pursed my lips as I looked at the freshly covered black stairs. "My trident will go through his body faster then he can say, I'm a little bitch." I chuckled, and he sent me a smile back.

"Who's he?" Cato asked. I looked up at him, noticing he was standing close to me now.

"Roland."

"451 to base - over!" Lieutenant said. She sighed, shoving her walkie back into her pocket. "I can't get a signal. But I can get us back to base. Hand over the holo Everdeen." I glanced up at Katniss, it didn't look like her words even registered. "Everdeen, what did I just say?"

"Boggs gave it to me," Katniss clarified. The older woman tilted her head as if this was news to her, I'm sure it was to all of them.

"What are you talking about?"

"He did, I saw him transfer security clearence to her." Oh she didn't like that.

Why didn't Peeta shove her into the oil?

I could feel something pressing against my leg, and it wasn't anything I was used to feeling from Cato.

It was his gun.

One that wasn't looped around his belt - he brought an extra. I slowly grabbed it from his back pocket without anyone but us noticing. I felt him look down at me in confusion.

"And why would he do that?" The new leader asked.

"We're on special orders from Coin," I explained. She tilted her head, I flashed my eyes down to her hand that was resting on her belt. "To kill Snow."

"I don't believe that for a second," She rolled her eyes.

"It's true," Katniss assured her. Well, on our terms it is.

"As your new unit commander, I order you to transfer security clearance to me, now." I scoffed.

"You say that like it means something," I snapped. She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Kat," Cato said under his breath. "Be quiet." I knew he could sense the tension growing between us, though it wasn't hard to pick up.

"Give it to me," The Lieutenant barked.

"I can't do that."

I saw her touch the gun and I immediately held Cato's up to her, stepping in front of Katniss protectively. I heard other's behind me raise their guns as well.
