When the group arrived back at Raven's dropship, Thena was already working. Panels, bolts, and pieces of metal lay scattered around her.
Raven quickly followed suit, barging orders at random people. Everyone was suddenly an organized chaos of people working against time.
Bellamy stood idly and watched as Thena worked. She was crouched down, both her hands seemed to be twisting something and already greased up. Her jet-black hair was tied into a low bun and pieces have already escaped, flying on her face. She occasionally brushes it away using her shoulder but it always comes back every few minutes. Bellamy would sometimes have to urge to reach out and tuck her hair behind her ear.
There was something soothing and rhythmic about the way she worked. Bellamy couldn't help but be entranced by her, maybe as a way to escape the gnawing guilt in his chest.
And so Bellamy helped. He utilized his strength to help the others carry the larger pieces back to the camp. He worked silently together with the group. Clarke noticed and couldn't help but be in shock at the man actually making use of himself. But Bellamy only wanted one person to notice.
She did.
Unconsciously, she smiled softly to herself as she worked, her gazes would sometimes be drawn to his figure before snapping back to the wires on her hand.
She felt just a tad bit better.
Because in some way, this was his apology.

By the time everything was ready, the sun had fully set over the horizon.
"Can we launch now?" Clarke inquired impatiently.
"Yep," Thena spoke up from her spot underneath the control panel. "The control panel's connected to the rockets. We did what we could to lessen the drag and increase the fuel intake for the thrust force but it can only do so much. Like Raven said, all about the burn time and cloud cover."
