✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩"Hey, Mon. What're you up to?" Thena ruffled the hair of the boy.
Monty stopped mid-chew, flashing Thena a lopsided grin, "Hey Thena, just packing some nuts." He tossed another handful in his mouth. "Want some?"
"It's not going to kill me now, is it?" She teased.
"If it were, half of the camp would be dead already," Jasper piped up.
Thena shrugged, "Good, I have had enough of that."
"Me too," Jasper replied.
Monty tossed a piece to Thena and she caught it with her mouth.
"Heyo!" The trio cheered.
Monty handed her a packet, "How are you? All good and well?"
"Good as new, Mon. Good as new. And you, Jas?"
He shrugged, "Could be better."
She snorted, "Don't well all." She looked at Monty, "Hey Mon, do you know if we have any speakers left? You reckon we could hook 'em up to the Ark's signal? The mood of this place is getting really boring. I feel like we should have a party before we all, you know, die."
Monty snorted, "I don't see why not. I'll check in a while. Jas?" Jasper shrugged.
Thena looked around, "Hey, you didn't happen to see Clarke or Bellamy, have you? There's something I need to tell them."
Monty looked up from arranging the nuts, "I think they're over by the dropship?"
Thena patted his shoulder. "Thanks, Mon. See you guys around," she said, saluting them, before turning to walk towards the dropship.
Lifting the tarp covering the entrance, she heard Bellamy giving a response to Clarke.
"Why are you asking me?"
"Asking him what?" Thena butted in. The two leaders both turned to look at her in surprise.
Clarke looked at Bellamy before responding to Thena, "There's a supply depot not far from here."
"And you're asking Bellamy to come with you..." Clarke nodded. "Leaving the camp without any leadership?"
Clarke parted her lips to respond before closing them again finding nothing to say.
Well... the grounder can wait, Thena thought.
"That sounds like an incredibly stupid thing to do."
"Well, what do you suggest then?"
"Someone needs to stay. It should be you, Clarke. You're the only one Jaha can trust to communicate here and the kids here trust you... kind of."
