Shikamaru sat on the grass, his legs bent, while his elbows rested on his knees, his hands interlocked together. The wind was gentle, pushing leaves past him and swaying the grass below.

He silently watched the group approach him from the distance. He sighed tiredly as he raised his right hand up, and rub the back of his neck. "Troublesome." He muttered to himself as he watched them.

Once close enough, Choji began to slow down, his limbs flaring around him as he huffed and puffed. Sweat pouring down his face as he stumbled. He feel down to his knees, his hands feel down on the grass before him. He shakily raised up his head, as he weakly pointed out in front of him

"N-Na-Naru-to-to." He huffed out towards Naruto, as he pointed at Shikamaru from the distance.

Shikamaru stared at Choji in pity, his face board as he stared at the poor boy. -_-* 'Geeze Choji.' He softly said to himself.

Ino, behind Choji, stared down at Choji in disgust, as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She looked off to the left, before she looked back over to Choji. "Your a ninja, Choji. FREAKING ACT LIKE IT!" She angrily shouted at him.

Choji looked over towards her from his place on the ground. Still huffing as he pouted up at her. "I know but-..I'm still.. human." He huffed as he talked to her. She just gave him an annoyed growl before she snatched away from him, and crossed her arms.

When she did, he looked away from her, and sat back on his butt, and stuck his hands into his pockets and pulled out a fresh bag of chips. He gave a small smile at the bag, and opened it.

He pulled out a chip, and licked his lips, while slowly shaking his head. "Mmm, oh how I missed you." He whispered as he stuck the chip into his mouth slowly. He closed his mouth and slowly stared to chew. "~Mmmm.~ He moaned as he chewed his chip.

Ino just gave an annoyed huff, and rolled her eyes. She then looked over towards Shikamaru. She could see Naruto running in his direction.

Naruto ran up to Shikamaru, she didn't feel tired, but she felt emotionally drained. After the whole situation with Sasuke, she was ready to rest, but her friends came first. Shikamaru watched as she approached him.

He inclined his head to look up at her, her shadow coming over him as he sat there. She looked down at him, slightly huffing as she stared at him in worry. "Shika." She called out to him as she huffed. His eyes soften, as he relaxed.

'No matter how hard a day has been, just being in her present, makes me relax.' He calmly thought, the wind blowing past him a little more intense than before, causing his cloths to ruffle, as he watched her slowly drop to her knees.

She sat there in front of him, eye level with him as she studied him. She couldn't see any stress, angry or worry within his eyes, so she was slightly confused. "Shika, what happened?" She whispered as she looked at him. Shikamaru sighed, as he stared at her. The wind swaying her hair softly, making her seem almost angelic.

"It doesn't matter anymore." He whisper, as he raised his right hand up to her cheek, and slowly caressed it. "Not anymore." He said, as his gaze bounced back and froth from her eyes to her lips. 'You just don't know, and you'd probably never get to know, how I feel about you.' He secretly thought as he caressed her cheek.

Naruto stared at Shikamaru, her worried filled look soften into a relaxed look, as her hands came up to hold onto his wrist gently. She blinked, and gave him a happy smile. "I'm glad." She said, with a genuine smile. Shikamaru mimicked her expression.

Ino stared at the couple quietly. The wind blowing past her, swaying her hair gently. Her eyes shined a strange sadness, as she stared at them.

Choji sat next to her, silently chewing as he watched them. He was honestly use to their strange interactions with each other.
