Why?

The sound of a shower could be heard going off. The bathroom was steamy and warm. The white tiles where slippery from the condensation from the steam. A light brown towel was hanging up on a circular towel rack. The metal was clean and smooth. You could see yourself perfectly in the rounded holder.

The shower curtain was long and white, it was pulled across, blocking the views of peeping eyes. In the shower, the water was hot and had a strong pressure. Tone but bony hands could be seen, reaching for a bottle of green apple shampoo.

They popped it open, and poured a fair amount in their hands. They layered it out in their palms and smoothed it over their shoulder length black hair.

Shikamaru was in deep thought as he push and pulled the shampoo through his thin but strong locks. His eyes were closed, and his body was relaxed. He sighed through his nose. 'Ahh, what a drag.' He mentally complained to himself. 'Today, we had an unexpected test.' He continued.

He moved under the water and relaxed his arms. Letting the water rinse his hair for him, occasionally rubbing his hands through it. 'Ino was a pain in the ass today. Asuma was also a pain in the ass today, literally too. Choji was pretty neutral.' Shikamaru thought, as he bent down to pick up the corresponding conditioner.

Just like the shampoo, he put a fair amount in his hands, and layered it out. Then he smoothed it throughout his hair. 'I wonder what Naruto is doing right now?' He thought to himself.

The training field was a mess. The dirt was distorted, the ground was littered with holes. A giant bolder was sticking out of the ground crooked. Sakura and Sasuke was sitting on the log. Sakura's arms were in between her knees. Her back hunched and a defeated look upon her face.

Her hair was slightly a mess, her forehead protector has slipped from atop her head, to around her neck. It was loose around her neck as it shinned in the sun. Sasuke was next to her.

His back straight, his arms crossed, his legs shoulder width apart. His eyes were closed. His clothes were slightly torn and was covered in dust.

Kakashi stood in front of them, his right arm on his hip while his left held a rope over his left shoulder. The rope was tied to something sturdy behind him, the rope looked to be leading upwards. His cloths were slightly dirty, and his hair was more ruffled than normal, but other than that. He was the cleanest one there.

He had a passive look upon his face as he looked at them both. To say the least, he was disappointed with these two. He was highly disappointed with them. The whole time that they were supposed to be attacking him as a team. Naruto was the only one trying to actually be a team player.

She was the only one trying to talk to them both. Trying to get them together to work with her, and trying to explain to them what she knew about him. However, Sasuke didn't want anything to do with her, and Sakura was just hell bent on being by Sasuke's side.

Kakashi was even more upset with Sasuke, furious almost. While Naruto tried to see passed all their dislikes of each other, Sasuke didn't even try. He attacked her, with much hostility. If he didn't intervene when he had, Sasuke could have seriously hurt her.

Sakura was no better in his eyes. Sure, she wasn't cheering for either party, but it was just the fact that she didn't even try to hear Naruto out. If Sakura had tried to hear her out, if Sakura had tried to help Naruto convince Sasuke to join her in attacking him. She wouldn't of have been hurt so badly.

However, at the moment, Naruto was currently uncontrollable. She's angry but hurt, and he didn't want her opening any wounds that he couldn't see. He was able to successfully break up the fight, pin Naruto down, and keep Sasuke back.
