The Fox that got Lost in the Clouds

Bring it on, Naruto Uzamaki!

The sun was low, the sky was orange, pink and blue. Dusk was close. The wind was blowing gently, swaying the almost bare trees gently.

The people of the village was all slowly going home now. Buying groceries, ninja supplies and last minute meals. It was mainly men out, a woman and her child would only be out if needed or accompany by a male.

Naruto and Dog were both walking through the village. The trees were mostly bare now, aside from the evergreens. The dirt ground was littered with yellow, brown, orange and red leaves. Naruto had a bounce in her step, her arms swing back and forth as she walked.

A big and happy smile graced her face. Her forehead protector rested upon her forehead, glimmering proudly in the setting sun. Her red, clear cherries rested in her messy bun. Her necklace bounced lightly upon her chest. She wore her new orange outfit.

Black tights, orange knee length skirt, and an orange hoodie. Dog, or formerly introduced as, Kakashi. Walked along side of Naruto. Unlike Naruto, he walked with a slouch. His back and shoulders were slumped.

He walked with sluggish steps and a tired eye. He wasn't tired, far from it. He was just lazy. He wore his forehead protector, it laid over his right eye. His mouth and nose covered with a dark blue, cloth mask. It looked to be connected onto his shirt.

Over his long sleeve shirt he wore his stander green jounin vest and dark blue pants. His hands where in his pocket as he walked along side of Naruto. Only when he was walking with Naruto, he didn't read his book. He wanted to give her his full undivided attention.

Plus, his baby sister was far too pure for such a book.

Naruto was very happy, she had gotten a pleasant surprise from her big brother after team 7's first meeting on the roof top. It was a day that Naruto would keep close to her heart, like so many other days.

The three children sat on top of the roof. Naruto on the outer right, Her legs kicking and her hands sat on each side of her. Sakura in the middle, her knees placed together as her feet sat apart. Her arms bent up at the elbow, and her hands balled into light fists, each leaning against each other under her chin.

and Sasuke on the outer left, his hands in his pockets and his back slumped. His body was slightly turned away from the other two, his only focus was on Kakashi. Kakashi sat in front of them, sitting on the balls of his feet, his heels almost touching.

His arms rested on his spread knees as he observed the group in front of him. Mostly Sasuke. Itachi has been reporting to Kakashi for the last two months about Sasuke's behavior towards his family, peers, Shikamaru and Naruto. This allowed him to be prepared for the boy.

"So, as we know my name is Kakashi." He finally said, as he placed his hand on his chest, then he fanned his arm out towards naruto. "And this here is Naruto. My adoptive baby sister." Kakashi explained as he gained an affectionate and proud look upon his covered face.

Naruto proudly smiled as she puffed her chest out. She was proud to call dog her brother. However, she would never admit to Sakura and Sasuke that this was her first time seeing his face, or even learning his name.

She's asked him many times in the past, but he'd always ruffle her hair and gently say. "Maybe another time, Naruto."

The three all sat silently, as they listened to Kakashi speak. "Now." He said, his voice more attentive now, causing all three of the children to slightly sit up straighter. His face was serious as he waited for the three. This caused them to become even more tense.
