Naruto sat sulking in a large, empty classroom, with two other children. One was a girl and the other was a boy. They were both her age. Naruto was sitting on the ground, her back slightly turned to the other two in the room. She was pouting with her arms and legs crossed. She gazed annoyingly out the window and up to the clear, blue sky above. Her pout worsen.

'Stupid sky, it's mocking me.' She accusingly thought as she gazed at the peaceful, blue sky. The other two was to her right, sitting on the seats in the class. The girl had her back fully turned towards Naruto, in favor of the young boy next to her.

It's not that she didn't like Naruto, in fact her and Naruto can keep a good conversation going and probably hang out. However, her crush was on the same team as her, and with no Ino to spoil it.

This was her chance to get a good relationship going between them, so that way when they go on missions they could probably cuddle and have a nice time together.

The girl held a love struck expression upon her face. Her mint green eyes dilated, a small smile with a light blush upon her cheeks. Her long, pink hair stopped mid back, her forehead protector sat upon her head, turning it into a head band. She had thick bangs framing her face. She wore a dress like outfit, with a white circle upon the shoulders and the back.

There were long slits on both sides of her red dress, leaving her to were black ninja shorts under it. Next to her sat Sasuke, he was slouching in his seat, his legs spread out in front of him with his hands in his pocket. Much like Naruto, he was highly annoyed.

The girl next to him was a squealing mess earlier, then she talked his ear off. Now she was silent but her staring was just as bad. He sighed as he gazed at the white ceiling above him. 'This sucks. I was lucky enough to get Naruto on my team, but it was such an irony when she was placed on my team.' He thought in annoyance.

He was pleased when Naruto was placed on his team. A dark smirk crossed his face as he snickered to himself. 'She obviously wasn't pleased, but the sheer terror on her face was enough to make up for her displeasure for me.' He thought, amused at the terror that crossed her face when they locked eyes at their teams announcement.

Naruto, Shikamaru and Choji sat in their usual seats. Everyone had on their forehead protectors, gleaming proudly in the artificial lights of the room. Iruka stood in the front of the class. A proud smile graced his face as he looked about the room. "You've all have grown amazingly, and you've all done your best." Iruka said in a proud and fatherly tone. "Never once, did you back down when the world was against you, and you won't back down now." Iruka proudly said as he locked proud eyes with Naruto's happy ones.

'She's a strong girl, never once did she give up.' He thought as he broke contact and continued on with his speech. Everyone stared to roll their eyes and huff in annoyance when Iruka's speech became endless.

To be honest, Iruka didn't really have a reason to make the speech so long. He just wasn't ready to part with the children's. 'After this, they will be considered as adults, they will become ninjas and go off on missions. They won't be my little angles anymore.' He sadly though as he spoke his speech.

Shikamaru and Choji wondered off into their own worlds. Shikamaru was daydreaming and Choji was wishing he was allowed to bring a bag of chips today. His mother wanted him to be at his best, but now he was wishing he ignored her and bought one from the nearest vending machine, their was one literately right in the halls.

He sulked as he whimpered at the thought and slowly brought his head down to the table below him. Naruto was deep into what Iruka was speaking, she knew that he had no reason to say what he was saying. She did the same thing when she didn't want to part ways or lose the attention of someone she really liked. However she only did this to one person.
