Lunch hour was always interesting, well for Naruto it was, she had bullies. Just like the parents and the everyday civilians didn't like her, so did their children.
When Naruto was first enrolled in the Academy, she was excited and believed that she was saved from the torment of the villagers for a few hours. However, she never thought about the civilians having children that went to the Academy as well.
When she first started attending, the civilian children would attack her, pulling her hair, smashing her sack lunch, spitting in her drank, pouring dirty, muddy water on her. She hated coming to the academy. However, she was befriended by the Naru, and his forever ,loyal, companion Choji. After they befriended her, she wasn't bullied anymore.
Well, at least not by civilian children. Since both Choji and Shikamaru were both Clan children, and heir of their clan, no less. The other clan heirs began their attack on her.
So there she was, sitting under the tree with Shikamaru and Choji, they were both watching with happy gazes as she opened her new Bento. Shikamaru was laying back in the soft grass, sitting up on his elbows, while choji sat crossed legged munching on his chips.
She was so gentle with it, almost like it was the most thinnest glass in the world.
Both Shikamaru and Choji didn't rush her, nor did they say anything. Not wanting to ruin this moment for her. You only get a new thing once this precious every 10 years of your life.
They watched as she popped open the orange lid, and gently set it aside next to her.
Next she took her new chopstick out of its orange and white casing and gently pulled out the equally orange chopsticks. They were see through and had cute little, white flowers on them. They were the definition of girly.
Shikamaru sat up some, changing his position to lay on his side, while his arm supported his head. His other arm took favor in holding her bento lid, wanting to look closer at it. He seen that it was indeed orange, with glitter in it.
On the top it had engraved in black letters, N.U. It obviously meant her name. Choji looked over Shikamaru's shoulder to also look upon the lid. He stopped chewing and smiled. Then he sat back straight and looked at Naruto. "Your bento lid is really pretty Naruto." Choji said kindly to Naruto.
Naruto gently nodded her head, her eyes hidden from view. Both Shikamaru and Choji looked up at Naruto. They sat there for a moment, trying to figure what was wrong with their friend. There answer was given when they saw a lone tear fall down her cheek.
Their eyes widen with shock, as they watched her silently cry. Shikamaru sat up, and slowly crawled over to her.
He then placed his hand gently upon her head. "Its okay to cry, Naruto. I promise you that its a normal thing to do when your happy." He said gently to her.
Choji silently nodded his head. "Yeah, its totally alright to cry. It may seem weird to cry when your happy. But Shikamaru's right. It's totally normal." Choji said, backing his friend up.
Naruto nodded her head gently, and then her hands came up to her face, and she cried her heart out to them. They both smiled at her tears. She needed to relive herself. And this was the best she was gonna get.
Their tender moment didn't last long. "Oh boo hoo, look at the freak crying her eyes out." Came a voice from behind them. Shikamaru groaned and Choji huffed. They both turned their heads and seen their worst problem yet.
She had platinum blonde hair, it was her most noticeable feature upon her. Her pupil less, pale, blue eyes where her next eye catching feature. She wore a purple crop top with white arm warmers, her shorts the same color as her top, she also had leg warmers the color as her arm warmers.
