[Death Anniversary]

Five years ago...

Shuhua a high schooler was inside her room feeling anxious. She was startled when she heard a knock from the the door.

"Shuhua~ya." Shuhua heaved out a sigh of relief knowing that it was just her older sister. "Come on down, dinner has been prepared." Shuhua took a deep breath before following her sister outside.

She's feeling nervous and all. She have mustered all the courage that she can and made up her mind.

"Shobe." Shuhua smiled as she runs to her older brother. She was engulfed into a tight hug. "I missed you Ahia." Shuhua's been missing her older brother. There is no one in their household that can play soccer with her.

Her brother only gets to come home during holidays or weekends since he's studying at a boarding school.

It was a typical family dinner. Even though Shuhua's parents have told her many times that soccer won't get her into something really useful in the future they still care for their daughter.

Shuhua put her chopsticks down getting the attention of her family members. "Is there something wrong Shobe?" her older sister asks clearly noticing the sudden change of behavior.

"I have something to confess." Shuhua bravely  said her eyes were determined. She can't take another day hiding. She wants to be free.

"What is it Shu?" her mom was gentle and soft that made her at ease.

"I'm gay." Shuhua lowered her head, her hands on her lap clenching her fist tightly. "We still love you even if you're g-" Shuhua jumped in surprise and even her older brother didn't get the chance to finish his words.

"No one in our family is gay." Shuhua was near to letting her tears fall. "You cannot go out of this house. Reflect on your words and actions." Her father sternly said before standing up leaving the dining hall.

"You're such a disgrace to our family Shuhua." her mom stood up following her father.

Shuhua let her tears fall not expecting to receive such reaction from the people she looked up to since she was a kid. "Shobe don't worry about it, Achi and I are here for you. I'm so proud of your bravery." Shuhua was engulf in a hug by her older sister.

But it seems like as the days pass by Shuhua felt herself suffocating. Her brother already left. She was here inside her room all day long. All summer break she was here inside.

She heard her phone ringing. A smile came across her face immediately seeing who's calling her right now. "I'm outside your house right now. Come on." Shuhua chuckled hearing Yuqi's determined voice from the other line.

Her parents are out for work and her sister is also at work right now so basically she's alone inside  this huge house.

She looked outside the window and Yuqi was indeed outside, leaning on her car. Putting her shoes on she grabbed her leather jacket by the table and carefully went out of the house.

"Took you long enough, anyway hop on." The two entered the car with Yuqi driving it. "How's it going?" Yuqi was concerned for her friend. Shuhua was getting skinny and it looks like the girl haven't been eating.
