"Diva week!" Finn yelled, clapping his hands, causing me to jump and grab Blaine and Jake's arms.

I looked at all the seniors then at Finn, "didn't we do that last year?"

Jake looked over at me, "what is diva week and isn't that a thing just for the girls?"

"Uh guys can be divas too," Blaine said, leaning towards Jake.

"Oh Kay, anywhooo we are going to be having a diva off so if you have a song you want to sing, get it ready and you can sing it. We will have Emma as the judge." Finn said.

He clearly didn't have much of an idea of what he was doing, but it's okay. He was trying and that's all that mattered.

"Oh, and we have someone singing to you," he said, gesturing at the door.

We all looked at the door, and Santana and the rest of the cheerleaders from the University of Louisiana came into the choir room in their uniforms.

I slapped my hand over my face and ran up to hug her, "Tana!" I yelled, attacking her with hugs.

She picked me up and spun me in a circle, "I missed you Ems! I heard you found yourself a fancy boyfriend," she said looking around the room.

"I did," I said with a proud smile. "And some super good friends. You should come to get some food or something with us so you can meet them and.... yeah"

"And....yeah," she laughed, hugging me again. "I definitely want to go get some food with you and your fancy friends"

I looked over at the seats, "that's Marley my best friend, Sophia her sister, and my boyfriend Jake." I said smiling and pointing to each person respectively.

"Don't tell her Jake's last name," Arite laughed.

"Oh?" She asked, raising and eyebrow and wrapping her arm around me

I nodded, "yeah... he's Puck's half brother. Butttt he's like the opposite and he's great and I really really like him. Like so much. More than so much. It's like crazy."

Blaine looked over at Santana and laughed, "she kinda likes him a little bit."

"I'm surprised you are okay with that one Blaine Warbler. You're all protective and not letting her out of your sight. What changed?" She asked, with a laugh.

"Well," Blaine said, looking at Jake whose face was full of fear. "Him and I talked a lot. She knows that she can come to me if she needs literally anything, so it works. I still definitely worry about her, but I trust him. Kinda. I kinda trust him, some stuff he's too stupid to get so I have to keep an eye on..."

"Okay big brother, that's enough," I said cutting him off. "Jake is great and is very good at knowing all of the health and brain stuff. He's very very understanding and doesn't make me do anything that I don't want to do. So no one needs to yell at him. Good plan me."

Santana walked over to Jake, holding my hand and looking him up and down. "Don't you ever do anything to hurt her," she said pushing her finger on his chest. "Or I will go all Lima Heights on your ass."

He nodded his head, "I'm not going to do anything to hurt her intentionally, and she knows if I do that she can say something. If you want help going 'Lima Heights' on someone for hurting her, I'm more than willing to help you with Daniel."

"Hehe, yeah. This is fun. Anywhoo, yeah Jake is also from Lima Heights. Also maybe we shouldn't beat people up?" I asked, "what if we just like... I dunno get breadstickx?"

Sophia laughed, "you don't want to go there with them. They think they are Lady and the Tramp."

I rolled my eyes at Sophia then looked back at Santana, "I mean at least I'm eating, right? It doesn't matter if it's a kiss pasta. It's still food," I said smiling proudly.

Jake reached over and softly grabbed my hand, getting eyed by Santana. "It's still food and we are so super proud of you," he said, kissing my hand.

Santana cleared her throat causing him to drop his hand. I always knew Blaine was protective, but so was Santana. She was there for me when my eating disorder was at its worse. She was there for me the one and only time that Blaine got drunk. We were just always there for each other. She called me when her and Brittney broke up, and we talked about it

"Not you not letting him touch me," I laughed.

"He's a Puckerman. We don't like his kind," she told me.

I shook my head, "and I'm an Anderson, so if you are going off of family legacy I'm going to go off and get drunk then beat someone up."

Blaine looked over at me, "Really, nugget?"

"What? I'm not wrong," I laughed.

It wasn't wrong, we always thought about our family legacy. We were always told that we were going to end up just like them.

Jake softly pulled me away from Santana and sat me on his lap, "are you, okay baby girl? Can you tell me where your brain is at please?"

"My brain is okay. It's just a little bit speedy? Not really though, I do know that I would like Santana to like you please," I told him.

"Oh sweet girl, I am sure that I will like him, and I can't wait to get to know him so I can like him. If you like and trust him, if you love him then I am sure that he is perfect. I love how much he makes your face happy," she said softly rubbing my back.

I leaned back on her hand, hiding my hands in the long sleeves of his letterman jacket.

Jake kissed the side of my head, and laid his head on mine, "We can still go get food with your friend, and she can get to know me and form her opinion. If she doesn't like me though, that's okay because I am so happy that you like me."

"I love you," I told him, moving to hide my face in his neck.

"She really does feel safe with you Jake Puckerman," Santana said, "I will see you both at lunch after school."

Finn looked around, "Okay that was fun. Anywhooo y'all need to be diva's this week. Yes, Jake, you do too."

"You get to be a fancy diva man," I told Jake, kissing his cheek again.
