Forever Glow in Mark Wailer 's point of view (A Harry Potter Fan fiction)

Chapter 1- The Letter

     It was hot. The smell of roses danced beautifully through the air, pairing with the smell of fresh parchment. I sorted the letters on my bed, catching glimpses of pictures of my parents waving happily at me through the ink. I wiped away the tears that had been building up all morning and smudged the ink in the pictures. I waited, restlessly, for my owl to get back. He would more letters from my parents.

     The house-elves mumbled angrily while they walked down the halls, angry because there was nothing to clean. The Billywigs danced to the music playing from the harp in the corner of the room, and sang a sweet tune along with it. I carelessly tossed the letters onto the night stand and walked over to the open window. My cat, Skittles, following behind. He climbed up a chair on to the window sill, looking at me with a frown.

     "It's okay, I'll be fine." I said, knowing he could hear and understand me. He rubbed his head on my chest and then looked at the door suspiciously. I turned around to see a house-elf holding my owl, he has a letter in his beak.

     "Your owl, sir." The elf croaked.

     "You don't have to call me sir, Willow. " I told him. He sat the owl down and left. 

     I went over to my owl, Gregory, and took the letter from his beak. The envelope had a was stamp on it that had a snake, a lion, an eagle, and a badger. The letter was stressed to Mr. M. Wailer in green ink. I looked over it a few times than knew exactly what it was. It was my letter to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I ran over to my stationary set and wrote to my parents.

Dear Mom and Dad,

     I have received my Hogwarts letter! I will be going to Diagon Alley this very hour! I will be using the cards you left for me to use at Gringotts.

                                                                   Love, Your son, Mark

     I pulled a box out of my desk containing cards to withdraw from Gringotts. The card said The Wailer Family of Purebloods.
