"Get out! Get out!" Madame Pomfrey said as she shoved us out the door. Ivy quickly ran towards a bench that sat in between two sconces.
"Ivy, what are you doing?" Tonks asked frantically . Zucker was soulless.Jake and Austin were shaken up. Ivy was very concerned and didn't look to well.
"I am fixing to sketch this Sigil!" She exclaimed. She moved around like a crazy person and pulled out a piece of paper. She wildly sketched what we all saw on the paper and handed it to me. "Since you figured it out last time." I nodded.
We walked to the library in dead silence . Ivy was jittery and looking I every direction. She was freaking me out
"Okay Ivy, what has gotten in to you?" I ask. Everyone looked at me crazily.
"HOW COULD SOMEONE DO THAT!" she yelled. She looked like she was about to fall. Anxiety, confusion, and dizziness.
"She's in shock!" Jake confirmed my thoughts. "I know one way of helping her, yet it could cause her to go mad if I'm not careful. " I knew what he was going to do and looked at him with surprise. He whipped out his wand and pointed it at Ivy. "Cogitatio! Ivy, this may sting a bit." He started to speak latin. "Turpis cogitationes esse abiit relinquere haec puella et sana eam anima!"
(What he was actually saying was, "Foul thoughts be gone leave this girl and heal her soul!")
Ivy's eyes opened and we all braced our selves.
"Is she okay?" Austin asked , obviously concerned. I smirked.
"Yeah." Jake answered. We walked into the library. Jake and I went to go look for the book on sigil that I had before. Austin, Ivy, and Tonks were looking for a book on memory and possession. Zucker went and sat on a bench and made absolutely no sound whatsoever. I was about to reach for the book on sigil but Jake got it before me, accidentally knocking me over in the process.
"Oh! Sorry!" He whispered .
"It fine." I said with a wide smile plastered on my face. He sticks out his hand and I take it. He shocked me.
"Guys, I found something!" We heard Tonks exclaim quietly . We ran quickly to where she was. "It says here, possessing can only happen by an object that someone is holding, so I guess it means that the spirit has to be attached to an object in a person he or she has." I thought about that, but it didn't sound entirely correct.
"I don't know." I said doubtful.
"Have you found the sigil yet?" Ivy asked.
"No, but that will take time." I was about to tell them that I didn't recognize anything in the book, but the dinner bell rang and we had to go.
"Guys, go on without me, I'll meet you later." Ivy said. I figured she needed some time to herself so I nodded and left. I had to wave my hand in front of Zucker's face though.
In the great hall, Dumbledore gave a speech about how he thought we should all practise more in transfiguration. Other than that, nothing much happened. Jake and I droned on about charms and never seemed to get tired of it. Tessa did though. She said we should have more fresh air. Ironic huh.
It was December 22nd. The ground was covered in a four inch deep blanket of snow. It snowed off and on since the day of the flying lesson. Nobody seemed to care too much about the cold. They were all very warm in their Hogwarts robes and scarves. We sat in the common room and enjoyed got cocoa by the fire. A few stockings were up and we had a Christmas tree, decorated with blue, bronze, and silver baubles.
