Chapter 6- Romeo and Juliet

     I woke up to the squeaking of the hinges on a door. I looked to see who it was, but he already left. I hope it was a he, I hope a girl wouldn't come in here. What an inconvenience for her. I looked out of the window, careful not to wake any one up. The Sun was almost all the way up, I decided to go down to the common room. It was a Saturday, which meant we didn't have any classes

    Tessa and Anna were down there along with a few other Ravenclaws who I knew to be Alanis Krane and Nala Hess. I said hi to them and sat down at a table right next to them.

     "So, Mark, how's it going?" Alanis asked.

     "Fine I guess."

      Tessa and Anna were talking to Nala about the lesson we had the other day in Herbology. We learned how to care for Devils Snare. It was very exciting.

     "I guess I'm gonna go get dressed and get some breakfast. "

     "Ok see ya later." Tessa said.

     I put on a bright red turtleneck sweater because it was supposed to be chilly, and grabbed my bag of books ,and my wand. I was headed for the Great Hall.

     I entered the Great Hall and saw Ivy sit down at the Gryffindor table, I went over to the table.

     "Hey, Ivy. How are you?"

     "Oh hello, Mark." She said while she was drawing in her sketch book.

     "What are you drawing?" I sit down.

     "The house ghosts." She says looking at me.

     "Cool." 

     "Yeah, I talked to them on the way over here. "

     "Make sure you get the Grey Lady's perfect nose." I say putting my Book of Standard Spells on the table.

     She laughed and kept drawing. Just then Zucker sat down at our table.

     "Hi Zucker,Good Morning." I say pulling my wand out of my bag.

      "Hi, Mark. Hi, Ivy. Guess what!"

     " What? " Ivy and I said at the same time.

     "I got a letter from my dad yesterday, he said Dumbledore is gonna let Snaxs come to Hogwarts!" He smiled wide.

      "REALLY? I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIM!" She yells. She stopped and put her hand over her mouth.

     "That's cool,Zucker!" I pointed my wand in the air and said, " Avifors. " A candle that was floating in the air shape shifted into a Dove and flew away.

     "Where'd you learn that spell? I looked it up in the Book of Standard Spells but I couldn't find it!" She put up her sketch book and quills.

     "It's right under Alohomora. It's not that hard to do ." I said as I stood up. I slid the book back into my bag. "I'm gonna go to the library, do any of you want to join me?"

     "I'm sorry Mark but I have to look for a korengian knickelbocker for my father,but I'm sure Zucker would love to join you" She smiles.

     "Sure. " Zucker says. We wave at Ivy as we leave.

     We entered the library, so big and so grand, there were so many books to read. 

     "I bet you kind find a book on anything here." I say , looking at the rows of bookshelves.

     "So, what are you here for?" Zucker asks walking towards the bookshelves .

     "I'm hoping to find a book with more spells in it, but I might end up getting something else."
