     "Hey, Mark?" Jake asked.

" Yes. " I answered, looking at him.

"Are you sure you want to use your extra ticket on me?"

"Of course. I wouldn't want to use it on anybody else."

"Thanks. Just wanted to know." He pulled a notebook out of his jacket pocket . And then a pencil.

     There was sheet music inside.

"What are you writing?" I ask.

"A song." He quickly went back to scrawling words across the lined paper .

"Hey, Mark! " I heard Ivy yell, "Hey, Jake ! Are y'all excited for the trip?"

" Yeah! " We both replied.

"What's your song about?" Ivy asked.

"It's not finished yet." Was the only the he said. She shrugged and looked at me. She fidgeted with her scarf.

"So,what's your family like?" She asked.

"They're fine. Just like any other family I suppose. Special." Ivana came from behind Ivy.

"Ivy, got your stuff ready?" She asked.

"Yes! I gave it to that guy over there." She pointed at a brown haired man standing next to a cart.g

" Okay. " Ivana walked over to the man with her trunk and suitcase. The man took her bags and dried them into the cart.

Ivana was walking back to us when she bumped into a girl. She was wearing a heavy blouse and get Hufflepuff winter wear. It was Angela. Ivana fell down. She came back up with her fists balled.

"No!" Ivy screamed. Angela reflexively curled up into a ball. Ivana's eyes widened and she fell to her knees.

"Angela! I am so sorry! It's just an awful reflex I have! I am so sorry!" Ivana had felt so bad that a few years had managed to escape from her eyes.

"It's okay!" Angela yelled. "Why are you so emotional all of a sudden?" She asked.

      "What do you mean?"

" I mean,I've seen you with everybody else. You never once apologized to anybody else. "

     Just then, the train whistled.

"We'd better go." I say to Ivy and Jake .

"Agreed." Ivy said in a silly manner.

In the train, we found an empty can to sit in. We stuffed out small bags into compartments above our heads.

A blue book fell out of Ivy's bag.

"What's that?" Jake asked before I could.

"Oh," she pointed at the book. "This is just a book. A book on mythical magical creatures! " She shook excitedly.

"What kind of magical creatures?" I ask.

      She shook even more.

"It has a Korengian Knicklebocker in it. " Ivana said agitated. Ivy stopped and looked at her funnily.

"Ivana, let your hair change." She demanded. " Do it! "

Ivana sighed and rolled her eyes. Her hair changed from her usual pink to a silver with crimson streaks. She looked at us all with a mad look on her face.

"Why are you embarrassed?" Ivy asked.

"It's nothing!" She exclaimed. She looked out the window and ignored us.

Ivy smiled. "Well, if that's how you're gonna be..." She pulled out her wand . "Revelio!" She screamed. A bright, crackling light shot out of her wand. "Oh no!" She said. " Duck! "

Her, Ivana, and Jake all three themselves below their seats.

I laughed quietly and pulled out my wand. The light ricocheted off of the walls of the cab. Now it was coming after me. "Auguamenti." I stated calmly. A small dart of water shot out of my wand and defused the light. "Ok," I taunted , "Big bad light is gone. You can stop hiding."

They came from below the seats. Ivana was grimacing at me. Ivy was smiling.

"That was so cool!" She said.

" Yeah! " Jake and I said at the same time.

"I know what I did wrong." She said confidently . She pointed her wand at Ivana. She looked at her but couldn't stop her. "Revelio!" She said.

Her hair turned black with small streaks of blue and red constantly switching places.

"I knew it!" She laughed. "What's wrong, Ivana."

Ivana sighed in defeat . "Follow me." Ivana said and walked out of the cab.

"Be right back. " Ivy said. She left.

"What's her problem?" Jake asked. His dark hair was crazy.

" She's mad that Angela assumes she's a bad person, embarrassed because she was down on her knees in a large crowd, and sad because she knows what Angela said was true. It's quite obvious. "

Just then the trolley arrived. "Anything from the trolley, dears?"

      "Yes, please." I say.

She gestured at the trolley full of sweets.

"I'll take four licorice wands and four chocolate frogs. " We finished our exchange.

"Have a very merry Christmas ." She said as she left.

"You too." Jake and i say.

"This trip is gonna be fun. " Jake said.

"Oh yeah, about that. My parents are weird and my mother is a huge smother, so she worries a lot. So try not to say anything about what happened this year." He zipped an imaginary zipper on his lips and the the key.

      Ivy and Ivana were back.

     "Chocolate Frogs!" Ivy squealed .

"Yeah. Have one please." I say.

" Thanks. " She said as she grabbed the box.

I pull out my wand and point it at a box of chocolate frogs. "Oppugno." I say. The box glided over to Ivana and landed softly in her lap.

"Thanks." She said. Her hair turned back into her bubblegum pink.

"Oh yeah!" Ivy said. She stood up and dug in her bags. She threw three carefully wrapped boxes. One at each of us. "Merry Christmas!" She yelled.

Jake opened his. He got an enchanted necklace that shows you past images you can't remember .

Ivy said, "It is kinda like a camera, without the agony." We all shared a laugh.

I got the complete works of Shakespeare. It had moving pictures and calm narration.

"Thank you, Ivy" I say earnestly. She nodded.

Ivana got flying socks that let you hover while you wear them.

We all exchanged gifts and laughed. I got Ivy a goblet that filled up with what ever drink she wanted. I got Jake a book on Nicolas Flamel. I got Ivana a book th at automatically wrote down what ever she needed to remember when she thought it.
