Chapter 8- Slytherin Vs Ravenclaw

     The next four days went by slowly, I visited Angela and Ivana in the hospital wing as much as I could. Which wasn't much since I had to study twenty-four seven. We were now studying the finding charm in first hour. Accio. I didn't even have to try. Why was really hard was herbology. I couldn't tell different plants from each other so I spent a lot of my time reading books about different plants. But Ivana and Angela got out of the hospital wing so I made more time for them.

     We were all excited today in the common room. I sat by Jake Friar in front of the fire place. We discussed transfiguration but we're quickly interrupted by loud Ravenclaws excited for the Quidditch game today. It was Slytherin vs Ravenclaw. Jake was upset because he wanted to support his friends team but was too nice not to support his own.

     "Hey, Mark. " a light voice said. Tessa.

     "Hey, Tess. Whatcha up to?"

     "Nothing, me and Anna were just wondering if you wanted to walk to breakfast with us." She pointed at Anna with both of her thumbs.

     I was feeling a bit hungry. We'd all been up pretty early. "Sure. I have to get dressed first. Will you wait?"

     " Yeah, of course. "

     As I walked off I heard her introduce herself to Jake. Getting up the staircase was a difficult task. No thanks to the other Ravenclaws. When I got to my dorm, I threw on a dark purple t-shirt and khakis. I grabbed my wand and backpack and ran downstairs.

     Tessa and Anna were waiting downstairs for me. 

     "Hey, Mark! You ready?" Anna asked.

     " Yeah. Let's go. " I answered.

     We left the common rooms and went down a few staircases. We ran into Zucker. He looked lonely so we asked if he would like to join us. He did!

     "So, Zucker." Tessa says, " what have you been doing? "

     "Nothing much. I've been trying to make a place for Snaxs, but I haven't been that lucky."

     "How do you make a place?" Anna asked.

     "Well, it's not that he made a place. He's just making a space bigger." I say making examples with my hands.

     " Oh. " Anna said, "That's pretty cool."

     " Yeah. " Tessa agreed.

     "Get this, okay." Tessa said, " The day before I left for Hogwarts, my cat stole my wand. So when I went to get it from her she kept zapping me, so I got the wand and she started jumping around in tiny circles and she didn't stop until the next day. My dad told me she casted a circular motion charm on herself. My cat is a wizard! "

     We all looked at each other for a second, then we died laughing. We continued to talk about random hobbies we had at home when all of a sudden Zucker zoned out. I waved my hand in front of his face for a few seconds before he came back to life.

     "Where were you dude?" Tessa asked. " Scared meh."

     "Oh," he said. " Must've been sleeping with my eyes open. "

     "You must have had a problematic childhood." I say in sync with tessa.

     " Yeah, I ummmm..... I went from foster parents to foster parent when I was little. " he said sadly bowing his head.

     Angela stopped by us to talk. We were all still laughing a little. With a few moments of sadness in between.

     "Hey, Angela! How are you?" I asked.
