"Wait, Monday is Austin's birthday?" Ivy asked. We were listening closely to Austin and Jake from about thirty feet away. I had my wand out, amplifying the conversation so we could hear it.

"I guess so." I answered. I looked at Jake, who was obviously getting ready to leave his spot.

"Their conversation is none of our business." Ivana said. She had a worried look on her face. Was she scared of Austin?

Ivy backed off slowly. She grabbed mine and Ivana's hands and yanked us back with her. My wand flicked to the right. I heard Dumbledore's old voice:

"I think we may have to consider the idea that Delvin Stitch never left Hogwarts."

The conversation ended when a man bumped my shoulder. My wand fell with a ,'clack', to the ground. I picked it up quickly.

"Oi! Wailer!" A familiar Scottish voice rang.

"Oi!" I said back nervously. Ivy and Ivana were now stopped and staring at Austin shakily. Jake shook his head.

"Ye three aren't very good at sneaking." Austin stated plainly and we knew we had been caught.

"Yeah, and you weren't gonna tell us about your birthday?" Ivy said angrily.

"No. If ye were listening, ye would know that I was being nice. Your friend just died. I didn't want to be rude."

"How would that be rude? You were born thirteen years ago!" Ivy said.

"It doesn't matter. Let's go to the train." Austin said rudely, pushing past Ivy and I. Ivana stood aside, for she knew Austin would do this.

"Ha!" Ivy said crazily, "I'm gonna throw the biggest party you've ever seen in your life!" She stomped after him.

     "Yeah! In a million years!"

"Why don't we make that ONE year?" Ivy retorted.

"I'd be surprised if you remembered!"

     "You're on!"

Jake, Ivana, and I walked awkwardly behind them. I clutched my broomstick to my chest and walked silently. When we got on the train, it was like nothing happened. We talked and laughed. Zucker, Angela, and Tonks stumbled in after us with moustaches of whipped creme above their lips. They hiccuped drunkenly, though, there wasn't much in butterbeer.

That night, Dumbledore gave a speech in the Great Hall about Riley's death. We all ate a small amount of food. Jake and I went to the Ravenclaw Tower, where we were stopped by our door knocker.

"What has teeth, but does not eat? What makes you look very neat?" The door questioned.

"Great." Jake exclaimed. "A new riddle." A few Ravenclaws were waiting behind us. We all thought for a few minutes, when, in front of us a voice sounded:

"A comb." The voice chirped. I looked down to see Professor Flitwick staring up at me. The door swung open. Flitwick grabbed Jake's wrist and mine. "Follow me, boys." Flitwick said.

"He pulled us down the long staircase and pulled out his wand when one tried to move. We kept our pace all the way downstairs until we were met by more people. Professors, McGonagall, Snape, and Sprout. With them were Ivy, Austin, Zucker, and Angela. Ivy was curious.

We stood just outside of the library. Snape had his wand out to illuminate the dark halls.

"Good, you're here, Flitwick." Professor McGonagall stated. "Well, I know you're all wondering why you're here?"
