A/n: Alright, well this AU is something that I had talked with someone VIA PM's that I completely forgot about till I went searching through my messages. I'm so sorry  tsukimi16 for not getting to this sooner! I did mean to do this before things got too hectic for me! They had messaged me within September of 2019-That was just when this book was starting off. I never meant to ignore her request. I also want to place out there this is the last AU of this book before I mark it as complete. If people want more for this book [which I highly doubt barely anyone writes in the comments nowadays] I will make a new book for Hero! Shoto Todoroki. 

Shoto couldn't believe that Shyla and him had gotten into a large argument-he didn't mean what he had said to her. Shoto leaned back against the couch in their living room as he shut his eyes remembering just what had happened that lead to Shyla no longer being there with him. 

It was a week before Shyla's birthday-and she had been making plans with her elder twin brother and younger sister to have a sibling day out on her birthday. Since both of them missed seeing her and wanted to see her. She was happy to know that they had actually missed her-her brother and sister had already apologized for the abuse and sexual assault against her. They had admitted that it was all on their mother who hated that she was their fathers favorite. 

When Shyla had told him about it, he declined the choice she made to be around her siblings, he didn't trust them still and words were petty to him. He didn't see what she saw in her siblings, Steven must be conning against her and her younger sister was always jealous of her being with him. He refused to have her get hurt by them without him there to protect her. Shyla hated that he was still living in the past and shouted at him about it. 

"Why are you always stuck in the past-the past is the past. You can't change that! But you can change the future if you give people a chance to redeem themselves. You don't know my mother or my siblings as I do. I trust my brother and sister, which is more than I can say that I trust with you right now!"

"Fine then go with them, see if I care! You're probably going to get kidnapped and fucked up seriously. Don't ever think that I'll ever save your ass from the nonsense they put you through, I told you that they were bad news Shyla!"

After that argument he didn't see her at all, she chose to hide herself from him completely for an entire week. As it turned to be her birthday her brother and sister came knocking on the door to their shared apartment as they looked concerned. 

"Who the hell are you two?"

"I'm Steven, and this is my baby sis Marisol-is Shyla here? She hasn't been answer Mari and I all week." Steven said 

"Yeah we're concerned for big sis, we had warned her that people were after her and to stay close to you...she is here right?" Marisol asked concerned

Shoto sighed and rubbed between his eyes. "No, a week ago her and I argued about the two of you. She told me about the abuse she went through no thanks to you two, then a week ago she tells me that you two changed and wanted to meet up with her today. I declined it. I don't think people who are that horrible change."

Marisol and Steven looked utterly shocked and concerned before Steven looked at Shoto pissed. "You don't know us, or our mother. How could you ever know the full extent of what's going on here?! Do you even know just how twisted and fucked up our mother is?!"

Shoto was silent as he looked down ashamed, Steven scoffed. "Of course you don't, you've never met the bitch. Sure our father was the better one of the two parents we had but he was barely around-it's why our mother messed around and cheated on him. It's why now we have a shitty step dad that thinks that us three kids are his personal toys. Shyla was lucky to be able to move away from mom how she had. Now where the hell is my twin sister?"

"I...I don't know. I...I haven't seen her since her and I argued. She had bolted off and I...I haven't seen her since then. I assumed she was around you two since she had been standing up for the two of you." Shoto said weakly

"Obviously not if we're asking about her!" Marisol said angered

"Looks like we have to go and look for her Mari." Steven said as he looked to Marisol sadly

"Yeah...I don't want anything bad to happen to her." Marisol said with a nod of her head 

Once the two left Shoto was left with a sting of regret as he realized that he was in the wrong with shyla. Her siblings did care for her...and he was being a complete dick to her without realizing it. He didn't know where to start looking which made him shut the door and sulk on the couch. 

At that time Shoto had gotten a message from Joel. 

Joel: Shoto what the FUCK did you do?!

Shoto: What do you mean?

Joel: I just got a rather disturbing video from some unknown place.

Shoto: Do you mind if I go over there and see it for myself?

Joel: Yeah and then you're going to explain yourself mister!
