Neko! Shoto

A/n: Sooo....two people have commented and wished Shoto as a neko. So let's see how far I can go with this cause I've never thought about doing this so soon. So let's see how you all like this. ^^

Life was lonely, life was really cruel. Life...it made you want to die. At least that's what it felt like when Shoto Todoroki was kicked out and abandoned by the family that once took care of him. He lived on the streets and it had been years since he had ever really ate anything or known what it felt to be in the warmth of a stable good home was like. 

He kept to the shadows since he figured no one would ever love him, who'd love a freak with cat ears and tail? Certainly not any 'normal' person. But that all changed one day as it began to be cold out. 

'...wonder if there's ever going to be anyone out there that'd actually appreciate me for me and not use me. It'd be better than dealing with that asshole'

Shoto's ears perked up hearing a female voice and got up from where he was hiding only to see her sitting at a bench near the alley way that he lived in. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at her, she didn't look that bad of a person. So he went up to her and nudged at her, in doing so freaked her out making her yelp out before she placed a hand on her chest. 

"W-Wait a moment...S-Shoto?"

The male tilted her head to the side. "You know who I am?"

The young raven haired female nodded her head. "Yeah I do...I guess it's been a while since the last time we saw one another. It's me...Shyla. Don't you remember who I am?"

Shoto's duo eyes went widen in shock before he hugged her tightly. "Shy!" 

She hugged him back only to push him back. "Holy crap you smell bad! Just where have you been? I've been worried sick about you." 

"I...I live in the alley. I was abandoned...I didn't know that anyone cared for me so I stayed there. I'm sorry for worrying you." 

"I knew that you didn't live with your family...but I didn't that this had happened to you. This may sound strange but did you want to live with me? I live alone and I can give you a place to be warm and out of this cold weather." 

He knew he could trust Shyla and nodded his head. "Mhm...it's really cold."

"Yeah it is. C'mon let's go Shoto." 

He nodded his head before he walked with her to her apartment, she noted everything about her missing friend. She knew about him being a neko and how self conscious he was about his appearance. Shyla knew that it was going to take more than her housing him and bathing the poor boy to make him really trust her-which was all fine and dandy with her. 

She had her own trust issues with males, being that she had just gotten out of a rocky relationship with Katsuki Bakugo who admitted that he was gay for Izuka midoriya and dumbed her not long ago. When they got to her apartment she let him in first before she shut the door behind her. Shyla first had him take a bath since she didn't have a shower in her apartment. 

She told him that he could use any of the soaps in the bathroom while she got clothes for him to wear. He did as he was told and was rather content taking the bath as he let himself soak inside of the tub until she knocked on the door. Shoto told him that she could go in and he saw her come in with a towel and folded close. 

"Hopefully the clothes will fit you. Later we can go shopping for clothes that are more your style so you are more comfortable here."

Shoto looked to her confused. "Wait...are you saying that I can stay here with you?"
