It was two whole days for Shoto to get everything from Steven, they always talked in the hospital room that belonged to Shyla while they waited for her to wake up. Shoto got to know Shyla's quirk, it was mental. She was able to read people's minds and what their quirks were and shape a different quirk to go against them. The downside to her quirk was that it gave her Anxiety and panic attacks each time she did so rendering her weak and paralyzed for hours. 

Hearing what Steven said it was obvious that Shyla had used her quirk on him the entire time they were on their 'date' and it was why she was in the hospital. It all came down to it cause he never waited up for her, which now made sense on why he felt so damn guilty for what happened with Shyla. After saying all he needed about Shyla, Steven left him alone with Shyla. 

When shoto was alone with Shyla, he held onto her left hand as he sat beside her. He stared at her for a bit as he teared up before he placed her hand against his lips. "I'm so sorry for being so cold to you. I promise you that I'll be a better person for you Shyla." He said softly to her 

He knew he wouldn't get an answer from her so he stayed at her side quietly as he shut his eyes sobbing out against her hand. Feeling so much regret for what he had said to her and for not taking the time to actually get to know her. 

It was almost four whole months that she was in a coma before she woke up as Shoto was softly singing to her, he stopped as he saw her duo colored eyes. She began to choke on the breath mask, he quickly took it off of her before he called for a nurse. Once he had he went back to her side and he held her hand within his. 

"Welcome back to the land of the living Shyla."

She was surprised to see him. "Sh...Todoroki....What are you doing here?"

"I couldn't just let you be in here on your own now could I? You are going to be my fiance after all."

She shook her head. "No...No I don't want to anymore. It's pretty obvious that you don't want to remember anything we did when we were younger."

"You mean the kiddie trial our parents placed us through? Yeah I remember that. Just you look different now. Your hair is completely black, why did you do that to your beautiful hair?" shoto asked 

Her eyes widen as she looked to him flustered. "I...wait what? You're making no sense Todoroki."

"You've been out in a coma for four months, for the beginning part of the first month I was talking with your elder twin brother Steven, he cleared everything up with me. I wish to make things up to you when you get out of here." Shoto said seriously 

Her eyes widen. "W-wait what?"

He took his phone out and showed her the time and date. she looked down sadly "I...I can't believe it. So what now?" 

"Now you're going to let me take care of you, and don't you ever use your damn quirk on me again." Shoto said seriously 

She stiffened. "How...How do you know my quirk?"

"Your brother told me, are you really going to be that damn stupid and use your quirk on me? Just what were you thinking Shyla?"

She averted her eyes. "I wanted to know just what you thought of me..."

"You could have just asked me."

"You didn't seem want to talk to me, so I wasn't just going to ask you that." She said sadly 

He sighed out as he got up as he saw the nurse come into the room, he let the nurse take care of Shyla as she went in to do some examinations on her body.
