After Shyla left Momo sobbing against a tree Shoto frowned seeing that his best friend wasn't in the best state of mind. Enji sighed as he looked at his son. "Go after her, she needs your help just as much as you need hers. I'll be checking up on you in two months."

Shoto nodded his head and ran after Shyla, hoping he'd be able to do something about the gap between the two of them. He soon caught up with Shyla and held onto her hand tightly, he saw her lift her right hand to hit him but stopped when she saw it was him. "Oh...shoto...You.."She said as emotion slowly came back into her eyes

"Shyla, we need to talk."

"I know that, but I have a lot of work that Mr. Aizawa gave me. I can't talk right now."

"I can help you, please?"

She nodded her head and the two of them walked hand in hand-which was awkward and made Shyla flustered but she didn't say anything about it as Shoto held her hand tighter lacing his hand with hers. "Shyla, what happened between momo and you that made you be in be in the hospital for two months?" Shoto asked concerned

"It was a one way fight with her constantly making things just to kill me. I refused to fight her which she didn't like. Denki just watched it happen and laughed as I got brutally hurt." Shyla said sadly "If it hadn't been for Mr. Aizawa I wouldn't have lasted that night."

"I was told that your his daughter...is that true?" Shoto asked

"Apparently, I don't believe it though. Why should I give a damn about a male that doesn't even try to figure out if I'm his daughter or not? He's seen me use my quirk before so I don't know what the hell is going on Shoto." Shyla said with a sigh

He squeezed her hand softly as he looked down at her. "Things will get better and more will be known between you and him as the year goes on. Just...you need to stop being so stubborn."

"I know I'm stubborn, why shouldn't I be? It's not like I'm wanted by anyone." Shyla said with a huff

He stopped her before they got to the dorms. He then held onto both of her hands tightly within his own. "I want you Shyla. I don't know what I'd do without you around. You make me feel like I'm not a monster-I'm happy to have you as my friend. I wouldn't want anything to ever happen to you Shyla."

She teared up as she heard him speak. "S-Shoto..."

He stepped closer to her and pressed his forehead against hers. "I would like us to be more than friends...but I know you still need time to re-" He said before he was cut off by her kissing him on the lips. 

He was stunned that she would have done what she had but it made him happy as he kissed her back as he cupped her face in his hands as she held onto his school uniform jacket tightly. Once they parted from one another she gave him a weak smile. "I...I'd love to become your girlfriend Shoto."

Shoto smiled at her as he brushed his thumbs against her cheeks. "I'm glad to hear that, let's get to the dorms and I'll help you out."

"Okay Shoto."

When they got into the dorms Deku and some of the others welcomed back Shyla. The only one that didn't was Denki and she knew why. Mina placed her hands over shyla's. "I'm so sorry you had to go through what you did. If you ever need help just ask okay?!"

She nodded her head. "Okay, thank you Mina. I've been told by the doctor that help me recover that I can't lift heavy things for the next two weeks so doing a lot of things I usually do is going to be a bit of a pain."

"You'll get over yourself, you deserved what you got." Denki said with a scoff

Shyla took her hands from Mina before she went up to Denki and kicked him in the gut. "That's for laughing while boosting Momo's ego to kill me! You should have stopped her not egged her on! If you had stopped her I wouldn't have to deal with so much pain!" Shyla said hissed out coldly "I hope whatever my father punished you with shows you not to fuck with me anymore!"

Everyone but Shoto was stunned and shocked to hear what came out of Shyla. Shoto sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. "Mr. Aizawa is Shyla's father. Both of them just found out not that long ago that they were related."

"How do you know that?!" Mina asked Shoto

"Mr. Aizawa told my father and I at the teacher student conference. I was shocked to hear that Shyla's father was him, but it made sense to some degree with her quirk." Shoto stated 

Shyla sighed out as she crossed her arms. "But it doesn't really matter to me since I know damn well he won't treat me any different from how he had before he knew."

"Ouch damn you kick hard!" Denki said groaning out 

"Maybe that'll teach you not to play with women's hearts." Shyla stated before she left to go do her piled up work that she missed in her room

After a half hour Shoto came into her room after knocking, she allowed him in and he helped her just like he said he would. Even after having dinner the two of them still worked together on the work she missed. It took her three days to get done with the work with his help to get everything done. The last day was Saturday night-which meant that they didn't have school the next day, so when he fell asleep with her on her cot he enjoyed cuddling beside her and not having to wake up brutally early in the morning. 

Both of them ignored their phones going off as they cuddled until there was a loud quick knock on the door. Shyla got up to answer the door only for her to see Mina. "Hey Mina-what's up?"

"Mr.Aizawa is here and he wants all of us up and down in the main room."

She sighed but nodded her head. "Okay I'll be down in a bit."

"Okay."

She shut the door and she went back to her cot and ran her hand through Shoto's red hair. "Love time to get up. My father is downstairs and wants all of us down there for some reason."

He groaned out and looked at her. "Do we really have to?"

"Yeah, we do."

He sighed out and got up before she fixed his hair for him, which made him smile before he kissed her on the lips. She kissed him back before getting up, the two of them then went downstairs together and saw that her father didn't look amused at all.
