A/n: For the shit holiday that is single awareness day =.= I will be 'attempting' to do this for the holiday. Dunno how well it'll be though.

Ever since the night that Shyla heard Shoto tell her not to leave him, she's been rather distant with him. She had no idea how to take what he had said to her, it made her feel unease about the fact that she was in the awkward situation with him. Shyla had no idea how to deal with the fact that Shoto asked something so odd of her. So instead of going through with the confusion in her mind, she went to Shoto's mother. She had to figure out what she thought about Shoto's behavior towards her. 

She knew that Shoto and her were rather close, when shyla sat down by the young white haired female she explained everything to his mother. Afterwards his mother began to think about how her son had been acting, she then looked at the duo haired female. "I can see that this is concerning you and you have every right to do so. My son isn't one to express his feelings because of his father. His father kept confusing him since he wouldn't allow Shoto to express himself unlike me. That confusion broke Shoto."

As his mother spoke, Shoto was overhearing everything that was said through the hall as he had his hands covered over his mouth. 

"Do you know what I should do?" Shyla asked concerned. "I...I feel so out of sorts right now and I don't know how to take how shoto had acted that night."

"I have no idea if he loves you or not. He said what he had while being intoxicated, so you must confront him sober. You must get him to say what he said to you and more without the influence of the alcohol that he drank." 

Shyla's eyes widen in shock as she placed her hands together. "That's brilliant! Thank you!" 

"Of course, I do hope that Shoto is able to say those words to you. You're such a wonderful young woman, I'd love to see you as my daughter in law shyla."

Shyla blushed as she nodded her head. "I hope that he does too..."

Shoto left as he tried to wrap his brain around what he had said to Shyla months ago. What did he said that made her act so off around him. He didn't remember a damn thing the night before other than going to the club with Shyla then waking up the next day naked without anyone in his room. What had happened to him? He had gone home and sat down on the couch thinking about what could have happened. 

As he shut his eyes that night came back to haunt him. Seeing Shyla in a bright red dress that showed too much of her skin as she sat beside him, they held onto their pinkies as she looked him dead in the eyes. 

"The male I crushed on in high school, the one that I could never say three simple stupid words to...has always been you Shoto. It's cliche I know, but I can't control my emotions its why I gave you the option to use my body between your relationships, cause at least then I'd have a little bit of time to call you mine before it shatters."

Shoto's eyes widen as he sat up quickly. Shyla had a crush on him?! Shyla loved him....Shoto held onto his heart as he realized that he must have said something that he always wanted to say to her when they had gotten home. But what?

He thought more about that night as his heart beat rapidly over the thought of Shyla actually loving him instead of rejecting him. He shut his eyes once more as he thought really hard about what else happened that night...

He had told her the truth, that he had never had sex with momo. That he wasn't sexually attracted to her, momo wasn't her. He then face palmed himself as he remembered what might have made Shyla act differently towards him. He told her to never leave him. He meant well to her but he knew that it must have creeped her out. He knew he'd have to make it up to her somehow.
