When Shoto had gotten to where Joel lived with Shadow, Joel took him to his laptop that was sitting on the coffee table. The two of them sat down on the couch as Joel replayed the video. 

The screen was dark at first as the voice was distorted as it spoke |Greetings friend of Tsukia, if you wish to have your friend back you will trade me Todoroki for her. You will have until ten tonight to give me Todoroki at the abandoned playground in town or you'll never see Tsukia ever again.|

Shoto frowned as he looked at Joel before he explained everything, Joel sighed out and rubbed between his eyes. "I get where you're coming from-really I do. But uh..peeps do change, you changed while be here and look how that turned out? You used to be so reserved and cared a shit ton about how Shyla felt. Now look at you, you let her go out on her own and she's been kidnapped."

"Will you trade me for her?"

"It's tempting, but I know you can take care of yourself like a big boy. Ever since I fucked up with trying to return you home, your shitty world has merged with this one-so this is my fuck up too. I shouldn't have never had tried to do something that was out of my hands." Joel said with a sigh "I am slightly responsible for what has happened to Shy."

"So...what now?"

"Now we're going to go to the abandoned park together and you're going to wait there to see who was brave enough to think they could take you on."

Shoto nodded his head as Joel turned his laptop off. As the two males went to leave Shadow had came into the house. "Shoto? The hell are you doing here without Shy?"

"Shy's been kidnapped, I was given a video that he watched with me. We're going to get Shy back." Joel explained for Shoto

"Joel as much as I love you-you're not going anywhere to get yourself hurt. Shoto is strong enough to be able to handle this himself. If he truly loves that special airhead woman, he'll get her back on his own terms." Shadow said seriously 

Joel whined out. "But..Shadow, she's my bestie!"

"And you're my husband, I'm not letting you get hurt because of someone else fuck up." Shadow said seriously

"This is my fuck up too! If it wasn't cause of me he wouldn't be here and neither would those he knows. I need to right my wrongs."

Shadow sighed out and rubbed between his eyes, as the two of them argued Shoto left on his own. He wanted to get Shyla back on his own anyways, he didn't want to use his quirks around Joel if he could help it. He was glad that Shadow wanted him to stay back, he would have said something but it wasn't his place to say. When he got to the abandoned park he remembered the times he would have with Shyla there. 

In their teen years they had a lot of fun chasing one another and wasting time before it got dark out. Now that they were adults at the age of Twenty five, he didn't know what to think about what has happened to the two of them. It had been almost ten whole years since the two of them had gotten together. It had been almost ten whole years since they met one another. Had he not been such a dick and moron to the woman he loved, she wouldn't be missing at that moment and that was on him. 

He sat on a swing as he waited for time to pass, he knew that as soon as he saw who took off with his girlfriend that he was going to do something about shyla regardless if she was hurt or not. No one touches and takes off with his girlfriend-she belonged to him.
