Shoto and Shyla had talked about how to go about the new school that they'd be going to. Shyla knew it to be the school that Joel went to, Shyla didn't want to get made fun out of for her hair again and had gotten her hair to be fully blue for the sake of being loyal to her dear beloved father before school started up. As the two of them got into the school Joel happily greeted them before he frowned as he saw that Shyla had her hair fully blue.

"Girl what the fuck did you do to yourself?" Joel asked confused

Shyla averted her eyes as Shoto spoke up for her. "She didn't want to get made fun out of for having two different natural hair colors so yesterday she had gotten the black side of her hair dyed blue." He stated as he placed a hand on the top of her head

He shook his head. "Girl, you realize that people in this school are beyond crazy. You'll see that people are going to accept you with your duo colored hair, just like I had back when we were kids. C'mon let's see where you two were placed and go from there yeah?"

She nodded her head silently before she walked with Shoto and Joel inside. Shoto laced his fingers with hers as he wanted to reassured her that nothing bad was going to happen to them. Shyla squeezed his hand back and leaned herself against him as they went to the guidance office. A secretary there gave the two their schedules before they saw that they were in all of the same classes together. Joel looked at Shyla's and happily smiled.

"I can take you two around, I know this place a lot better than anyone else you might meet. C'mon, let's get to homeroom."

"Okay thanks Joel. You're an awesome friend." Shyla said happily

"Of course I am, now come with me love birds." He said with a smile

Both of them were bright red at his words before they followed after him. Their first day of school went pretty well and they got to meet the interesting group of friends that Joel was friends with. Shyla also got to meet his crush; Shadow who was flirting with him the entire lunch period. Joel didn't see it though since they had been friends for a while. Shyla looked to Shoto as he looked down at her.

"Should I tell him?" Shoto asked

"Nah, I'll give him a few days." Shyla said with a smile

Their attention went from each other to a female who was part of Joel's group. "So, Shyla...Shoto-you two seriously a couple?"

Shoto nodded his head. "Yeah, we've been together for a few months now."

"A few as in how many?" She asked

"Like it should matter, what are you up to?" Joel asked his friend. "Stop being a hoe Selen just because you can. Isn't it obvious that those two are together? They've been holding hands together all day today in the halls. Not to mention Shoto here is one hell of a gentleman towards my friend shy."

Selen sighed out as she leaned her head against the table. "It's just that I know who Shoto is, why the hell is he with someone so boring like her? I could give him the time of his life better than she could. Plus I've never heard either one of them utter the words 'I love you' to the other."

Shyla didn't want to argue with a friend that Joel was friends with so she left the table and asked to use the bathroom before she rushed to the bathroom. She went into a shall before she cried her eyes out. She hasn't ever said those words to anyone since her father had left her with her abusive mother and siblings. She felt like she was going to suffocate with pressure that was on her.

Was she truly that bad of a person for not saying three words to Shoto. He knew she loved him...right? She covered her mouth and tried to silence herself as she placed her boots up against the door as she heard someone walk into the bathroom.
