Yay, another wonderful day
I began getting dressed and ready for the new adventure today.
Although once I saw everyone besides Roxie and Dave together, red flags were drawn
Welp so much for adventure
Not to long after, Darius comes bursting through the door.
"What up, camp cretaceous!" He screams
I smile slightly at his enthusiasm.
Darius is something
"Not in a whoo-hoo mood this morning, Darius, not after yesterday, trekking through a rainstorm will do that". Kenji says
"We only had to walk because you crashed our gyrosphere" Ben replies and I nod
I hear Kenji growl at Ben.
Ben takes the initiative to hide behind me.
"But today's a new day! Kayak day! Who doesn't wanna paddle alongside dinosaurs, real dinosaurs! It's gonna be awesome, right?" Darius says before noticing that Dave nor Roxie were present.
"The babysitters took off early and left this" kenji says on his seat sliding towards Darius with a note.
"BRB. Gotta go. Boss-talk. BB. Later. Smiley face, is that a dinosaur emoji with a thumbs up?" Darius asks
"It's Dave speak. Roxie translated on the back". Kenji says
"We have to go talk to our boss. Stay inside until we return. Draw, bond,whatever. The radios set for channel six in case you need us. Stay inside, stay inside. Don not leave, Kenji, looking at you. Uh...sorry for the kids menus, it's all Dave had". Darius finishes
"Do they understand how old we are?, I mean when was the last time you even saw a crayon?" Kenji finishes and Ben shows a picture of him and me with bumpy.
"So cuteeeeeee, maybe one day I get to meet bumpy" I say with a smile
"Hmm. I have notes" Yasmina says
"Yasmina!" Sammy and I say before we're interrupted by Brooklyn.
"Brooklyn. What's new on the internet, superstar?" Yasmina asks
"I wouldn't know because when I went to get my phone from its charger, it wasn't there! Someone stole my phone" Brooklyn says accusing us
In my defense, I don't touch someone else's stuff without their permission
"Brooklyn, who hasn't had your phone?" Yasmina question
Then a great amount of replies from the other campers are let out. Although strangely enough Sammy responds late
"I...haven't seen it either" she says
Why did she hesitate to respond
"Really?" Brooklyn says suspiciously Before the tension got even worse Darius broke it.
"Hey, hey, it's okay! Since we're not kayaking till later. Well have plenty of time to look for the phone". Darius says
"Oh, I think I know exactly where to look. I also think that whoever took the phone. Might be trying to hide some of the things that are on it. What do you think, Sammy?" Brooklyn says walking in Sammy direction.
Would Sammy be capable of stealing?
"Um, what?" Sammy responds confused
"What is your deal? Sammy said she didn't touch it! Ever think you might have just lost the stupid thing?" Yasmina responds all up in Brooklyn face.
