"Aly, pinapatawag ka ni Caden. Hinihintay ka niya sa may elevator."

"Ah, sige. Salamat." I answered then frantically gathered my things.

My heart is pounding fast! Definitely not because I am excited to see him again but because of the nervousness and embarrassment I'm feeling.

We needed to visit Helios again today so I have no choice but to face him first thing on Monday.

When I heard from my mother about what truly happened at that event, my mind was blown. I completely got the wrong idea at kung anu-ano ang nasabi ko sa kanya sa gabi na iyon.

Talagang na-misunderstood ko lang siya at nagkataon na sobrang frustrated ko noon kaya ko nasabi ang mga 'yun.

"Let's go?" He casually said when I arrived at where he was waiting.

He then pressed the button to close the door when we were inside.

"Do you have a license?" He randomly asked.

"For driving? Yes." I answered.

"Good then." He nodded.

Unlike the last time where we waited in the main entrance for the driver, this time, we went out to the parking lot of the building.

Diretso lang lakad niya at nakasunod lang ako.

We stopped in front of the SUV we used the other day. He immediately unlocked it and opened the door of the passenger's seat.

Maybe the driver is not available today kaya kaming dalawa lang.

Sasakay na sana ako pero isang hakbang ko palang, napatigil ako kaagad.

He went inside himself and even closed the door. Binaba niya ang bintana at tiningnan ako.

"Are you not getting up?" Sabi niya at binigay pa sa akin ang car keys.

My eyes widened. Wait. "I am driving?"

He nodded. "Yes, you said you have a driver's license."

"Oo. Pero-"

"Kaya mo yan!" He said like he knew what I was going to say. "Tara na, we'll be late." He tossed the keys for me to catch then rolled the windows up.

I stood there for a bit. I am shocked that he is acting so casually with me na para bang walang ibang nangyari over the weekend.

Kinatok niya ang bintana para makuha ang attensyon ko. I exhaled loudly before making my way to the driver's seat.

If this is what he wants, then alright. Pero tama lang naman kasi office hours pa so we shouldn't be talking about personal stuff.

Tahimik lang ako habang nag-simula nang mag-drive habang siya ay may coding na ginagawa sa laptop.

I focused my attention on the road and on the navigation system. I can hear the typing sound of the keyboard from beside at mukhang walang balak itong katabi ko na tulungan ako kahit man lang sa pag-turo kung saan liliko o aling daan ang tatahakin.

I was thanking the heavens when I saw the corporate building of Helios. Ito pala ang Hilda Tower III at ngayon ko lang nalaman. Kaya pala medyo hawig nito ang tower namin.

Our meeting this time is during the morning at hindi naman ito mahaba kaya makakabalik kami ng office mamayang hapon.

We will only be meeting the managers for today kaya doon lang kami sa office ni Jason.

The meeting was just like usual where we talked about the project and clarified some concerns. It also went smoothly so it ended earlier.

"Let's go have lunch first bago tayo bumalik ng Nexus." Caden said when we were alone in the elevator.
