This time though, a chinita girl carrying a box of what looks like cupcakes walked straight into Caden's office even though he wasn't around. Kaya naman halos lahat napatitig sa kanya noong dumaan siya.

"Aly, pasok ka sa office ni Caden kasi pinaparequest ka ng client." Lapit ni Brenna para sabihan ako.
"Me?" Napalakas pa ang boses ko dahil sa hindi inaasahan.
I am well trained in handling unexpected situations pero sa pagkakataong ito, I'm just shocked that they'd ask for me. Akala ko hihintayin nila si Caden doon o di kaya'y si Shelly ang hahanapin dahil siya ang sunod na may mataas na position.
Hinanda ko muna ang mga gamit ko bago ako nagtungo roon. Para naman hindi ko malimutan kung sakaling may mga importanteng detalye na ibibilin.
"Hi!" I said and smiled shyly at them when I went inside the office.
"My name's Yani and I'm Mischa's sister." She exclaimed excitedly. "So, hi sister in law!"
My mouth formed an 'o'. That's why I thought I saw her somewhere, it's because she is my brother's fiance's sister! Nasa Australia pa kasi ako noon nung nagkita ang pamilya nila at ang pamilya namin kaya hindi pa kami formally naipakilala sa isa't - isa.
"Gosh. We've finally met!" I told her with a big smile and went to hug her a bit.
"Right?" She agreed. "This is Vini, by the way. My boyfriend and Caden's best friend."
He extended a hand and I shook it. Yani suggested that we all sit down and talk, it's funny how she was feeling very much comfortable there as if it's her own office.
It wasn't long before the door reopened. Kasabay ni Caden na pumasok si Brenna na may dalang mga juice para sa bisita.
He looked at his friends suspiciously. Katapat ko ang mag-best friend at sa tabi naman si Yani.
"Bakit kayo nandito?" Tanong ni Caden noong lumabas na si Brenna.
Nagkatinginan ang mga kaibigan niya bago sumagot si Yani.
"Well, binisita ko lang si Vini."
"Binisita, dito sa office ko?" Tumaas ang kilay niya at humalukipkip siya.
Vini shrugged. "Yani wanted to see her."
Nagkatinginan kami ni Caden ngunit umiwas siya at ibinalik ang tingin sa kaibigan.
"Well, ok!." Yani pouted. "I refuse to be the last one who meets her!"
"Sabi ko next week eh!" He answered.
"Hindi na ako makapaghintay. I'm too curious." Ngiti ni Yani sa akin.
"That's what I explained to him." Vini gestured at Caden.
"Anyway, sorry about that." Yani told me. "Sa tropa kasi namin, sa kanya ako pinaka-curious kung paano magkaka-love life."
Hilaw lang akong ngumiti sa kanila dahil hindi alam ang sasabihin.
