210. Real Life

"Hello?" Ian smiled upon hearing the voice of his daughter, "Blaire what have I told you about picking up mommy's phone?" Ian chuckled at Nina's scolding. He could hear the tv on in the background which meant that Arrow was most likely watching his favorite cartoon,

"Not to do it" Blaire replied and Nina sighed mostly lowly shaking her head at her feet born, the phone was soon passed over and Nina's voice came down the line

"Hello?" Ian smiled at hearing his wife's voice. No matter how long they've been together, he still can't get his mind wrapped around the fact that he and Nina were married and had three children, something he never thought wood ever happen when they and broken up back on 2013. He beloved that he's get to have that with Nikki but it seems after had other plans done in the end, she brought Nina back into his life and now they were happily married with three healthy and beautiful children he couldn't  be more blessed and lucky.

"Hi baby," Ian greeted making her gasp as she hadn't expected a call from him until later that night

"Hi, baby" she replied, "aren't you busy?"

He didn't reply instead the sound of the door bell timing filled the air making Blaire yell that she'll get the door but Nina was right behind her, "care to open the door?"

"Wh-" Nina asked confused as she pulled the door open and in front of her stood none other than Ian himself, "you're home"

"Hi," he grinned putting his phone down hair like Nina did as they locked eyes

"DADDY!" Blaire squealed seeing her father for what felt like ages, "you're home"

"Hi princess," he chucked as he picked her up laughing as Blaire rained kissed all over his face, "I loses you too, lovely"

Arrow soon came waddling from the living room most likely hearing the commotion, his eyes lighting up when he saw Ian at the door and made a dash for him nearly toppling over on hi rush, "daddy!"

Nina and Ian exchanged glances as he cradled their two eldest children in each arm while she held their youngest in hers.

"Welcome home," She mouthed at him making Ian smile

The first few days since his return, Ian had two little bodies glued at his side but didn't quite mind it as he did miss his children. It was always hard for him to leave when he had to do promo but now that his drink was officially out, he was going to be home for a long while. Of course with all the time he now had, Ian now has time to plan a surprise family trip to Disney world to celebrarte Mother's Day.

"Alright, one down two to go," Nina said as she walked into their bedroom with a freshly bathed Duncan to see Arrow and Blaire fast asleep on each side of Ian, "never mind," she smiled at their sleeping faces, "I'll just give them a bath tomorrow"

She climbed into bed and cradled Duncan and began to feed him, his eyes droopy with sleep.

"Thank you," Ian looked up at Nina and raised a brow making her smile

"For what?"

"For being here, for loving me when you didn't have to, for not giving up on us when I gave up on us all those years ago," she said making him slowly and gently shift before sitting up, "I don't deserve any of this yet you're here with me and loving me the way you do and I just, thank you"

"There's no reason for you to thank me, baby" Ian said making her look up at him and he smiled, "yes we went through hell when we broke up but that only made us that much stronger and closer. Because of that we wouldn't have this" he pointed at their chairmen peacefully sleeping in their bed before looking back at her, "our break up was one of the worst days of my life but here we are now, that's in the past now. What we need to focus on now is the here and now. Our lives now not the one we had back in 2013. You and I, we found our way back to each other and that's all that matters"

Nina smiled and nodded before leaning over and giving him a kiss on the lips that he returned.

He was right, in the end all that matters was they had their happy ending and that everything that happened in 2013 led to them being here living the life they had always wanted.

"I love you," Nina murmured
