Ian and Nina Somerhalder Share Sweet Tributes to Each Other on 5th Wedding Anniversary

Ian Somerhalder and wife Nina Somerhalder expressed their love for each other in gushing social media posts as they celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, March 3rd.

The Vampire Diaries alums shared six photos on Instagram including one from the day he wed his former co-star star in 2018.

The day we said "I do" was already five years ago. Five years that have bonded our bodies and souls. I didn't think time would fly so fast. But even as it passes by, nothing could harm us now I'm at your side." the 40-year-old wrote to Nina, with whom he shares 5 year old daughter, Blaire and sons Arrow, 4 and Duncan 3.

These past five years have been the happiest, the funniest, the most beautiful and balanced in my life and I think that we have found in one another the complimentarity and complicity that make the strength of happy couples."

The Fresh Vine Wine co-founder, 34, shared her own loving salute to her man on Instagram on Wednesday , posting six photos from their wedding that showed the couple exchanging vows under a wooden tepee frame, hitting the dance floor and one when they young with Nina kissing Ian on the cheek.

"It was five years ago today that I walked down that aisle and met you to become one...husband and wife."Nina wrote. "Five years ago that we spoke those solemn vows in front of our family and friends and I knew right then life would never be the same. There we were, a couple of kids madly in love and excited for what was to come. If I could have predicted what the next five years would look like, I wouldn't have waited so long to marry you."
