251. Real Life

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Ian decided to surprise their kids with a trip to Disney World.

"Diapers?" Nina asked as she checked over all the items surrounding her on the bed. She knew they were going on a trip but she didn't know where.

"Check," Ian answered as he showed her the diapers next to him and she nodded before putting a check mark next to it.

"How many outfits did we pack for them?" She asked and Ian looked at the pile before counting.

"Duncan has 40 pairs of clothing," Ian said and she nodded, "Arrow about 30 and Blaire has 50 not counting their shoes." Nina nodded and gave him a sheepish smile making him chuckle, "perhaps we should cut down on their outfits? We're going to be gone for three weeks, babe."

"Do you have any idea how messy your sons are?" Nina asked with a raised brow, "I change those two at to east five times a day if not more," Ian nodded, "Blaire is a different story, so we could cut down on her outfits. We can take 20 outfits for her."

Ian shook her head but nonetheless removed nearly half the articles of clothing from Blaire's suitcase out. "Did you pack their travel toothbrushes in there?"

"I did," Ian answered and Nina nodded, "and yes, I did triplet check that I didn't forget. I also packed their shampoo, body wash and towels." Nina gave him a grateful smile, "we don't leave until Friday love, so why don't you just relax and we can finish packing tomorrow?"

Nina nodded with a sigh as she set down the notepad on her nightstand while Ian stood up from the floor and joined his wife on their bed, "how much longer until you need to go do promo for your wine?"

"Jules said we'll take a few photos for it in April and I think we'll do an interview or two as well." Nina said rested her head on his shoulder and Ian hummed pressing a kiss to her temple as he laid a hand in her baby bump. Yes, the pair were expecting another baby. Nina was currently four months along and she hasn't had any symptoms which she hopes won't change as the pregnancy progresses.

She supposes every pregnancy is different so she's not that all surprised she hasn't had any cravings or anything if that as she did with her first four pregnancy. Yes because even though she lost her baby before getting pregnant with little Duncan, she was pregnant with a baby she calls her angel. So yes all her five pregnancies are different but she has enjoyed each one for whoever long they lasted.

"I'm proud of you, you know." He said and Nina like dup at him and he smiled, "despite you being a stay at home mother, you still crafted you're own drink and with your best friend no less."

"Well, I do have the most supportive husband in the world who also happens to have his own drink out with his on-screen brother," she said and Ian smiled before pressing a kiss to her lips, "I'm proud of you too, because for as long as I can remember you've always wanted to creat your own drink and it's finally happened."

Ian hummed, "I do have one hell of a wife who pushes me to achieve such a goal so thank you for always believing in me and for helping me pursue that dream."

"And thank you for always pushing me to do what I have always dreamt and for being the best husband, father I could ever ask for."

"How long until we arrive?" Nina asked as she came up to sit beside Ian up front of the RV and Ian liked at the GPS and it stated that they were 11 hours away.

"11 hours, we're about to enter Louisana," Ian said and Nina nodded as she rested her head in the headrest and stretched her legs out, "get some sleep, I'll come get you once we reach the next rest stop."

"I don't want you to be alone," she replied but Ian shook his head just as Luna hopped up beside them and gm gave a big yawn as she rests deje head on her paws.

"Miss Luna, here will keep company, so go and get some sleep. The kids could wake up at any time and will be scared that you're not there." Ian said and Nina wanted to protest but eventually nodded as they ended Duncan whining through the baby monitor she held in her hands.

"You better come sleep once you reach the next rest stop," she said and Ian nodded and she sighed before leaning down to give whim a kiss on the cheek and he smiled. "Love you."

"Love you too, now go on, go sleep."

Nina woke up with a start as the bed dipped beside her and Ian softly apologized and she sighed as she flipped over to stare at him, "sorry for waking you up,"he whispered but she shook her head as she snuggled closer to him and resting her head on his chest. He tugged her closer as he pressed a kiss to her head.

"Where are we now?" She asked softly as she yawned.

"We just arrived in Baton Rouge," he whispered and she nodded as she closed her eyes, "sleep, we still have another 9 hours before we arrive to Florida."

"Night." She murmured and he only tugged her closer before letting sleep take over.

The somerhalder family were on the road again early in the morning after Nina had made breakfast for both her and ian as the kids were still sleeping in their room. It was around 9 in the morning when they passed through Alabama.

"Daddy? Mommy?" A soft voice called for them and Nina looked over to see Arrow standing at the door of the room rubbing his eyes and Nina smiled as she stood up and walked towards him.

"Hi love bug," she greeted him as she lifted him up into her arms, "did you sleep well?" He nodded before resting his head on her shoulder and yawned, and soon after his little body went limp as soft snores left his parted lips making Nina chuckle before she carried him back to the room and laid him down beside his siblings.

Ian stopped the RV as soon as they entered a test area and shut it off before standing and stretching his legs. By then all three of the children were wide awake and dressed for the day even thought they'll be tired by the time they got to their rented house.

"I'm taking Maverick and Luna out so they do their business," Ian said and Nina nodded as she fed Duncan while also helping Arrow with his pancakes.

"I wanna go!" Blaire exclaimed mail Duncan jump on Nina's lap but she patted his bum as he continued to drink his bottle.

"Did you finish?" Her father asked and Blaire nodded as she showed him her empty plate and Ian nodded, "alright, put your shoes and coat on." Blaire jumped out of her seat and ran to her room and not a second later returned with her shoes and coat on.

"Stay close to daddy, okay?" Nina said and Blaire  odder as she held her father's hand and soon father and daughter were out of sight. "Alright, let's get you dressed whole dad and sissy are out." She stood with Duncan and Arrow before heading to their room to get them dressed for the day.

Duncan had decided it was nap time so she laid him down in the bed while she and Arrow went back into the main cabin of the RV to color. Ian and Blaire along with the dogs arrived shortly after Nina handed Arrow some paper and crayons to color.

"Ready to ge back on the road?" Ian asked and they nodded, "alright then," Nina cleared the table before buckling Arrow and Blaire into their seats and checked on Duncan incase he woke up due to the sudden movement of the RV.

"Ready?" He asked as Nina returned and she nodded.

"We're ready."
