A little sky lantern burns for a faraway star

My eyes long for you from oh so far

Even when overcast with pain

I have no right to complain

When the skies are dark with tempests

My feelings remain a secret of the darkest and deepest

I sail on as a fevered vagrant

Oh how I miss your scent so fragrant

On the vessel of endless hope

I struggle as I was at the end of my rope

In the night as clouds hid the moon

Loneliness hit me and I curse my misfortune

My eyes long for you

I miss the days when it was just us two

Even when overcast with pain

I cannot complain

I can only seek you from afar

Like a little sky lantern burns for a faraway star
