Me: This was part of an idea for my character harper but I could figure out how to use it in my story at the time so I'm using it here. Enjoy

Jarvis's POV

The Avengers had been called on a mission. Tony, (Y/N) and Loki went on the mission so that Tony could teach the others more about what to do and how to do it. They quickly went to where they were needed and a fight broke out between them and a group of enhanced individuals.

As far as I could see from the security cameras and body cams the fight was going well for Tony, (Y/N) and Loki. "Tony MOVE!" Yelled (Y/N) as a blast of energy flew straight towards him. Tony was pushed out of the way by (Y/N) and she fell to the ground. Loki, being protective over (Y/N) he dealt with the rest of the enhanced rather easily then ran over to (Y/N). Tony had picked her up and was holding her head off of the ground.

"What did you do?" Loki snarled and took (Y/N) off of Tony. Loki quickly teleported to the hospital lab and quickly got bruce to help him save (Y/N).

"What was she hit with?" Bruce asked as Loki laid (Y/N) down on a bed. Loki shrugged and Bruce sighed. "Well, whatever it was is killing her. She's burning up." Bruce said and quickly got what he needed to possibly save (Y/N).

Loki put his hand on (Y/N)s head and he must have been trying to cool her down. Lokis hand turned a pleasing blue. Whatever he was trying to do was working for a little bit but soon Loki pulled his hand away and whimpered. It was horrible to see a member of the Avengers so helpless like both Loki and (Y/N) looked right now.

Time Jump

(Y/N) had been placed in a room that was as cold as ice. None of the others could have survived in the room with her but as Loki was frost giant he seemed to be alright.

Outside of (Y/N)s hospital room, Tony and Steve sat together and they tried to talk and figure out what to do. "What happened?" Steve asked but Tony refused to speak. I decided to tell him because Steve needed to know. They all did.

"Ms (Y/N) saved Mr Stark from being hit by pure energy and she got hit instead," I said and Steved nodded softly. Steve pulled Tony into a hug and they sat hugging just outside (Y/N)s hospital room.

Loki came out of the room and glared at Tony. "Thank bruce for changing my mind about killing you," Loki said to Tony before slapping Tony then going back into (Y/N)s room. I liked but also hated how Loki left (Y/N)s side just to tell Tony that. Tony sighed heavily and put his hand onto his now red cheek.

Loki sat back down at (Y/N)s side and opened his book once more. He seemed to be trying to read but he looked distracted and he kept peaking over to (Y/N)s sleeping form. According to Bruce, she would survive but she was in a coma and Bruce had no idea when she would wake up. Neither did I.

Time Jump a month and two days

(Y/N) was still in a coma and Loki was still sitting by her side in her room. He barely ate, moved and he didn't speak. He didn't leave the room to get or do anything. Loki didn't give up on (Y/N) and I'm glad he didn't because all his patience had pained off.

(Y/N) opened her eyes slowly and turned her head to face Loki. She smiled at him as he read his book. "Hello, Lokitty," She said and sat up slowly but the look on her face told me she was in serious pain. Loki looked at (Y/N) and he looked almost in shock. "You alright Lokes?" She asked and Loki nodded slowly.

"You're awake?" Loki asked and (Y/N) chuckled softly. Loki couldn't stop himself from pulling (Y/N) into a hug but as he held her she whimpered from the pain. When Loki heard the whimper he let go of (Y/N) and he looked very angry at himself for hurting her. "Sorry (Y/N)," Loki said and sat back down on his chair.

"It's alright Loki. I needed that hug anyway." (Y/N) said to make Loki feel better. "Why's the room so cold?" She asked as she must have noticed the frost around the windows and that her breath created a fog in the room.

"To keep you save," Loki said and that would have confused me too. (Y/N) looked at him and he continued to explain. "You have such a high temperature that you shouldn't be alive but you are. The room is this cold so that your temperature doesn't get higher." Loki explained and (Y/N) nodded while leaning back down onto the bed to rest.

"If it's as cold as it seems to be why are you in here?" She asked and I knew that Loki would have to tell her. Loki had not told anyone that he was a frost giant and the few people who did know were told never to tell anyone else. (Y/N) didn't know Loki was a frost giant and from the look on his face, he didn't want her to know.

"Because I am the only one who can survive the cold we are in." He said and sat on the end of the bed. "My biological Parents are a species called Frost Giants who live on the Jotunheim. I can survive the coldest temperatures and I can control ice sometimes." He said and (Y/N) nodded at him.

"Doesn't that make me dangerous to you though?" She asked and Loki gave her a questioning look. "You're cold while I'm hot?" She said and Loki nodded softly. "That sucks." She said and they both sighed heavily. (Y/N) shuffled her legs away from where Loki was sitting as if to stop him from getting hurt.

"Yeahs it does darling," Loki said and sighed heavily as (Y/N) pulled the sheet over her body more and she snuggled into the bed. Loki moved back to his seat and opened his book to read.

"It hurts Loki." (Y/N) said as she listened to the story.

"I know darling." He said and started reading to her. They seemed to be fairytales from Asgard and (Y/N) appeared to be enjoying it but every now and then she would grimace or whimper. "Just focus on my words." He said and kept reading to her.  (Y/N) closed her eyes and I saw a few tears roll down her face as she rested.

Loki put his hand on her cheek and kissed her forehead. He must have used some form of magic on her because in a seconded (Y/N) was asleep. He started quietly reading aloud again and a small peaceful smile appeared on (Y/N)s face.
