Rex's pov

It was the second day of the school. I'm really excited. I don't know why, maybe because now i have many friends and i enjoy their company a lot. Or maybe our football sessions are restarting today. Yup that's it!

Soon i was ready and walked down the stairs. My dad was sitting at the table reading the newspaper, drinking his ritual morning cup of coffee. As he heard my footsteps, he lowers his reading material revealing his smile ridden face.

"Good morning my boy, ready for the day?" He sounds so chirpy that usual.

"As ready as I'll ever be, i guess". I smiled.

"Mom.. I'm leaving." I said to my mom before grabbing a sandwich from the table and picking my schools bag.

"Have a good day". She said from the kitchen.

"Hey, wait for me." My brother Roman came sliding through the stairs. He is a year younger than me.

"Let's go." He said before picking another sandwich from the table and together we walked out.

We walked towards the busy streets of adventure bay and headed towards the block where our school was. I saw tracker waiting for us. He waves as he saw us approaching him.

"Hey Rex". We fists bumped each other.

"What's up lil man". He greeted my brother.

"Tracker, I'm big now. You need to call me big man." He frowned.

"Okay my lord". Tracker chuckled.

"Hey look". Roman pointed to somewhere to busy roads. My eyes traveled to where he pointed and my eyes widen in shock.

Violet's pov

It's a new day at my new school. I didn't like to socialize much or i must say that I'm bad at initiating small talks. So i rather sit silent that saying something that embarrasses myself.

So for the same reason i have no friends till now. I wonder if there is a world where there is no schools! Slowly, i began to slip into my fantasy dream world where no schools are there. Great!

A loud sound knocked me back to reality. I turned my head to see a car coming in high speed towards me. It was like i was paralysed in the place. I couldn't move due to the fear.

Suddenly a hand grabbed me from behind pulling me away from the harm. We fell on the floor with a thud!

"Are you really crazy"? A voice shouted beside me as i looked up to see a boy with black jet hair and hazel eyes staring at me.

"Sorry, i was day dreaming ". I apologized.

"Are you guys okay?" Another two boys, probably his friends came towards us and helped me get up.

"Thank you for saving my life". I smiled as he stood up and dusted the dirt from his jeans.

"You're welcome. Please just watch where you're going next time."

"Hi.. I'm violet cooper." I gathered all my courage before greeting him.

"Rex Adams ". He smiled.

"Hey guys". I turned towards his friends.

"I'm Tracker Collins and this is Roman Adams." He introduced. I gave him a confused look.

"Well that's my brother ". Rex said beginning to walk.

"So look like you're new." Tracker asked.

"Yup. Can we be friends, because i don't know anyone there."

"We became friends the moment i pulled you out of the way." Rex chuckled as we reached the school gates.

A boy and a girl was waiting there. " Hey rubble " Roman greeted. "What's up buddy?" They fist bumped each other.

"First of all, meet my detention bestie Luna Reynolds ". Rubble said with a grin.

" detention bestie "?

"I met yesterday during detention hour".

"Hi I'm violet." I smiled to her. "Hi". She beamed to me.

"Let's go". Rex said and we followed him.

Thanks to the stars that biology is over. Making my way through the sea of students, i find my locker and put the book away before heading to the cafeteria.

Skye, luna, daisy, emarald, ella and everest are waiting for me outside the door of cafeteria. Like me they're also holding a container with lunch.

"Let's go". Skye says enthusiastically. I stand confused where to follow them exactly.

"Aren't we eating there?" I pointed towards the door.

"No way, it's Tuesday, we have to go out to the fields." Daisy said starting to walk.

"Why?"

"I like to call it lunch with view, now hurry up." Taking my hand everest drags me out the doors to the football stands.

I'm so happy right now, i got such wonderful friends. They're awesome!

Describing them, skye has a elegant personality where everest has a cheerful personality. Luna was really bubbly while emarald was joyous and carefree. Ella is always pleasant whereas daisy is eloquent.

Reaching the fields we sit half up in the bleachers. As soon i sit, my eyes automatically was glued to the fields. The football team is running through different drills while my dad stands off the side. Speaking of my dad, he is new head coach of adventure bay high school. He is really excited and thrilled.

Looking towards daisy there is one guy that her eyes continuously follow. Everytime he successfully catches the ball or dodges around to get open, a small smile flashes through her face.

"Who's that number 15?" I asked raising an eyebrow. She whips her head towards me, her cheeks are stained rosy red.
