9. 𝐋𝐄𝐓'𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐑!!!

Everest's pov

"So what's next hour for you all?" I asked as we reached near our locker after the lunch.

"Geography!" Skye said first.

"Me too " chase and marshall said in unison.

"Add me to that list too." I said looking up from my schedule.

"I have maths, god!" Emarald facepalmed herself.

"Don't worry.. I'll help you with it." Rocky said coming forward.

"Look like we're with you too". Rex and tracker came towards rocky.

"So what about zuma, ella, rubble, tuck and daisy?"

"P. E" they said together.

We waved each other and parted our ways.

Reaching the class, i saw my nightmare and her friend sitting in the middle of the class. Maybe daymare!

"Isn't it everest? Ohh... I can't even recognize her." Sweetie said dramatically.

I just rolled my eyes. There is no sense in  talking to buffaloes.

"Who is this. You're new friend. What's her name?"

"It's skye." I said and we walked towards the empty seats behind. Marshall and chase entered right behind us.

"Hey chase..." Sweetie and emily waved their hands to him. Almost every girls in the class started to straighten up.

"Hii". Chase said and went to seat ignoring her tries to impress him.

I supressed my laugh in a cough and started walking again. But they blocked us.

"Well well...skye don't you think you look too skinny? What do you think everest don't think you two look too skinny? Sweetie had a smirk on her face as she said that.

"You know... Being fat is bad for a girl. It makes you look... Older! You should try on going on a diet. "Skye smirked at her and the smile vanish from her lips, replaced by a scowl.

This time i burst in to laugh as we hi fied each other before sitting next to each other.

"That was amazing skye." Marshall said from behind.

"It was nothing ". She smiled to him.

"So skye, tell me why did you and your family left the town?"

Skye's pov

The question literally freezed me. But i quickly composed before answering.

"Umm... My mom got a transfer...."

"But Marshall told it was because of your dad's job". She said being confused.

"Umm... Yeah.. I mean, Marshall and dad shifted to there because of dad's transfer." I smiled to her. I don't want any of my friends to become sad because of me. I'll always become their light of joy.

"So are in the cheerleading squad?" I asked quickly before she ask any another question.

"actuality no.. I never thought that. But daisy is. You know that sweetie and her gang is also there. I don't live her." She said feeling annoyed.

"Oh! But, can't we join?"

"I don't think so." She denied.

"But you know, Marshall has decided to join the football team. So that i was also thinking about joining the cheerleading."

"Wait.. Marshall is joining the football team?" She asked.

"Yup! He said." I saw her eyes lit up in surprise.

"Maybe joining the squad may not be a bad idea. " i smiled.

"Great. Let's ask Ella and Emarald after class" i suggested and she nodded.

"Marshall, did you get what i asked "?

"Yes.. Here.." He took out four application forms from his book and gave it to me.

We're having the last hour but the teacher isn't here yet.

I handed one to everest and other to ella and emarald. I pulled out a pen and started writing my details.

"What are you doing?" Chase asked as he sit beside me.

"Filling forms for the cheerleading team." I smiled to him.

"Really?" Chase asked again.

"Yes" everest shrugged her shoulder.

" so you've decided to cheer for us. " I look towards the entrance of the class to find four boys entering.

"Not again". Everest muttered under her breath.

"What's up everest?" A boy with baby blue eyes and light brown hair said before sitting beside everest. " who's this newbie" he asked her referring to Marshall.

"This is Marshall." She said.

"Hey man" he grinned but Marshall glared to him.

"So friends.. Meet our buddies Harry, Ryan, Adam and Andrew." Zuma introduced them to us. I gave them a small smile and went back writing again.

"So why don't you introduce them? Adam asked as he approached and sat beside me and chase.

"Oh yeah! Meet skye, ella and emarald. They're the new students in our batch. Marshall is Skye's twin and this is tuck, Ella's twin." Chase introduced us.

"Did you miss me everest?" Harry asked again giving her a sweet smile.

"Why will she miss you?" Marshall glared again.

"Chill man. I was just asking."

"Hey dear..." Andrew started walking towards ella who was sitting at the corner. Before he could sit near her, zuma jumped to the seat.

"Sorry dude. Seat unavailable." Zuma gave him a sheepish smile. Andrew just pouted.

The bell rang indicating that its time to go home. We stood up from the seat and started walking outside.

" I'll take the forms to administration office. " chase said and collected our papers before walking away.

We reached the gates and saw everyone waiting there.

"Hey" i greeted.

"Where's rubble?" Zuma asked.

"Detention" Marshall said.

"Girls.. You're having tryouts tomorrow." Chase said approaching us.

"Great! Let's cheer baby".. Daisy clapped her hands.

"Guys.. I'll see you tomorrow." Rocky waved us and walked away from us.

"Wait we'll- ". Rocky disappeared from the sight sight before zuma can finish the sentence.

Well that was weird!!!!
